Joining your TR! Poor you, feeling so bad on your first day in the World. Very happy to read that it was gone by the morning!

Migraines are the worst. I get them too, so I know exactly how you were feeling. I know it probably made you not enjoy your meal as much as you could have.

I am very glad though that it was gone by the morning.

Jen, I'm so sorry that your headache proceeded through the night and that you didn't get to enjoy Illuminations. But so happy that you woke up the next morning and felt better to go check in at WL and go to your first MNSSHP event.

Ohhh I know that feeling of just trying to feel better but it not working. I don't get migranes but I get stomaches a lot and know how that goes when you are trying to have a great time. I hope that the next day was great for you! Already peeking at your pics on Facebook, I had to stop though as I want to enjoy them in your TR.

Hi, Jen! I'm here!!! I'm sorry I'm so late. I'm excited to hear all about your trip.

I agree - I LOVE the way Florida smells. Why can't the whole world smell like Florida?

I'm sorry about your migraine. Feeling lousy at Disney is no fun, especially when you have to miss Illuminations. I definitely know the 'I want to go home' feeling. I've had a few awful panic attacks at WDW that left me in tears begging my parents to take me home. It's not fun. I'm glad you felt better the next morning though. I can't wait to hear all about the Wilderness Lodge!

When you have a migraine that bad, it's like you can't even remember what it's like to feel normal. And to have one like that in WDW is the worst! I get them all the time but luckily, never in WDW. BTW, forgetting the one thing you asked for is sooooo something Tom would do!
Ughhh, I hate migraines! I keep saying I'm going to go to a dr. and get prescription migraine medicine, but I hate the thought of going through all the testing. Sleep is usually the only thing that works for me too, sometimes, if I'm lucky and catch it early enough, I can take Excedrin Migraine and drink some Coke or coffee and it might go away, but usually, once I have one, it's there for the day.

LOL, I couldn't believe Brandon forgot my Advil! And when he went back to the store to get it, he said they didn't even have any out, so he had to ask and luckily they had some in the back!

Despite feeling like crap, I think you managed to get some nice pictures, especially the night time ones of the ski and the monorail and spaceship earth.

So glad you woke up feeling better.

Brandon - forgetting the advil - so something Denny would do!
I remember your migraine from your May TR, and thinking "that's something that would happen to me". Actually, this is the 2nd time our first night has kinda been ruined a little by me having a migraine, same thing happened on our Disneymoon. I just have to remember to drink a ton of water on the travel day, I think I just forget because I'm so excited!

Thanks, I like some of the pictures we got that day! Notice there are none of me? I didn't get one picture of myself that day because I felt so awful I didn't even want to bother!

Poor Brandon, I felt so bad making him go back to get me Advil, but I really needed it! And at least he got out of the room for a little while and didn't have to listen to my whining about wanting to go home!

It was a pretty awful start to our trip...there were a few good points, but I'd say that's probably the worst day in Disney I've ever had. Things definitely did improve!

When I have a migraine that bad, all I want to do is lay in a dark room, so it was really hard being in Disney and trying to have fun and put it aside! I'm so glad you don't get them anymore...maybe when I have a child someday I'll be cured too! My mom used to get them really bad when I was little and now, it's rare for her to even get a headache, so maybe you just have to grow out of them or something!

I hate that feeling of being at WDW, but not being able to really enjoy anything!

CSR looks really pretty, though! And that's cool that F&W was open early! Did Brandon like the Hawaii pork slider? That was one of our favorites. I'm glad you got to see Remy at dinner! Sorry you had to cut your night short, but so glad you felt normal again in the morning!
Thanks! Ugh, yeah, I can relate to cleaning supplies giving you a migraine, I've had that happen a few times too! It seems like most of the time, migraines are caused by being dehydrated, so I really just have to drink lots of water!

CSR was pretty, but it was kind of ruined for me in the end because of how terrible I felt. When I woke up, I was just so ready to get out of there!

Brandon did like the pork slider! I wish I got to try it, but for some reason, we never went back to the Hawaii booth!

I'm glad I woke up without a headache too, I was SO afraid it would carry over to the next day! Thankfully, that was the only migraine of the trip! I don't think I could have handled another night like that!

And talking about annoying people on rides... while on POTC, the lady in front of us kept taking pictures throughout the entire ride. WITH THE FLASH ON. I was *thisclose* to grabbing her camera and tossing it out of the boat!
Ugh, I'm sorry you get migraines too, I hope you never get one in Disney!

I really liked Chef's, I definitely want to go back, migraine free, of course! I hope your kids agree to try it, it seemed pretty kid friendly!

OMG, the flash picture taking on rides was SO awful on this trip! On Spaceship earth, it was seriously out of control, I've never noticed it being this bad!

Thanks for joining! Wow, I can't imagine it being 95 for the whole trip! I honestly don't know how people go during the summer! We usually do the same kind of touring, go early in the morning, take an afternoon break, and then back to the parks at night. I'd never be able to go all day and not take a break, Disney World is exhausting!

Yay! I've been noticing our park days are very similar so far, I bet we walked by each other a few times!

Thanks for joining! I actually just started reading your TR, but I was waiting to officially join until I got caught up, I'm only on your Animal Kingdom day!

Ugh, it was a pretty bad first day in Disney, but I tried to make the most of it! I'm happy that horrible migraine was gone the next day, I guess I just really needed to sleep!

Migraines are awful, I would love to never have another one in my life! I'm so glad it was gone by the morning too! I really liked Chef's, but I would like to go back and try it without being in so much pain and feeling a little nauseous! Remy was adorable, I wasn't expecting to see him, so that made me happy!

Thanks, I was really sad that we couldn't see Illuminations on our first night, but we definitely made up for it during the week! I was definitely happy to wake up headache free, since I knew we had MNSSHP that night, I really wanted to be able to enjoy it!

Ugh, I know all about stomach issues too, trust me! Luckily, I'm never really bothered by that in Disney, it's usually headaches! But you never want anything to be bothering you in Disney, you always want to feel your best, so when something does, it's so annoying!

LOL, I didn't put a lot of pics on FB, I have like 900 or something so don't worry, you won't see too much if you look at them!

Kara!! So glad you're here!

I wonder if people who live in Florida realize how great it smells there? So not fair. I mean, CT smells nice now because it's the Fall, but it's still nothing compared to the tropical wonderfulness of Florida!

Thanks, I was so upset about missing Illuminations, I mean, I really felt like I was committing a crime or something! I can't imagine having a panic attack in Disney, that has to be awful! I hate feeling like I want to go home when I'm in Disney, you look forward to your trip for months, and then one little thing can instantly make you want to leave!

I was SO happy to get to the WL, I love that resort so much, I really wish I could live there!

Thanks! I was so hot the first few days I was there! And now, 2 weeks later, it's cooling off! Ughh!! This is the time I really wanted to go, but our pin didn't cover this whole week, so I had to do the beginning of October!

Chef's was really good, I will definitely be going back there!

Thanks, I'm glad the migraine went away too, I was so happy to be going back to WL!

Lol at the slurping raw oysters idea - I have to agree in that I am glad that doesn't happen. There's already a queue for 'pick a pearl' - can you imagine if they started giving away raw oysters as well

Yay on Remy stopping by your table!

I'm glad you went on Soarin' and it made you feel better for a short while.

Love the Epcot pics and I'm so happy to hear your migraine went away the next morning Now you could enjoy the rest of your time at Disney World

I am so sorry that your first day at Disney was so rough! The combination of very little sleep and such a dramatic change in climates would get most people down, I think. I can't believe you made it as long as you did! I am such a baby when it comes to pain - especially headaches. I can't function when I have one!

I know what you mean about feeling like you are "betraying" Disney by not taking advantage of every last thing. If we ever head out early without seeing the fireworks, I feel the same way!

I'm so glad that you woke up the next morning feeling better!

Yay for you reading my TR! No need to wait to "officially" join in, I love reading comments even if it's about previous updates.

Looking forward to reading all that you were able to accomplish once you felt better.

Migraines are the worse, especially on vacation and especially in WDW!
I am glad that a good nights rest (and some advil) did the trick!!!

You definitely weren't going to betray WDW by the want to go home when you didn't feel well! That's just a normal feeling!

I have yet to go to Le Chefs, but it sounds yummy and it's so cute that Remy comes around to the tables!

CSR is really beautiful

Back from my trip and all caught up. I got to hear your "one more Waffle!", but what beat it for me was the Hops and Barley booth "one Lobster Roll... Rollin'!"

I feel soooo bad for you! Our first day was also not so great-- I used to get horrible migraines from dehydration. They're the absolute worst! I applaud you for soldiering through dinner-- I just would have wanted to lay in my hotel room and cry!
