First time Dream Cruise sept 13-16.

On the 13th of September it was real, after 18 months of reading the forum post, at around 12.00 we entered the big atrium and our names were called.

The night before we stayed at The Hyatt on the airport and we took the Disney Cruise Line transport to the harbour, pretty convenient. Around 10.15 we were at the Terminal to get our Key to the World cards amd around 12.00 we entered the ship.
We never took a cruise before so we were overwelmed by the ship. After the lunch at Cabanas (do not stand in line but move to the end of the buffet and there are no lines) our room was ready.

Room 9162 has a big balcony, we took it because we knew we should have a perfect vieuw there and through the aft elevators, who were not busy, easy to reach.

Late dinner we took and we were curious to meet our "tablemates". I've read about tablematching but never could imagine that it would be the perfect match. After shaking hands and introducing ourselfs we started talking about the matching and it turned out that we were both on a wedding anniversary and we both loved dogs and owned them also, so after showing photo's we had a great time during our dinner. Sadly, the third couple was at Remy's but the next night it turned out that they also owned dogs, so the matching was very good.

We enjoyed the premier movie: Finding Nemo in 3D.

After the first night at sea we anchored Nassau, we went off the boat, took some pictures of The Dream and entered the streets of Nassau, sadly for Nassau we were back in 10 minutes, because we were both not enjoyed by the atmosphere (our own feeling). So back on the boat, due to the Ardastra Gardens and City Tour we had at one o'clock we took lunch at Cabanas.
The City Tour was very nice and the Ardastra Gardens was wonderfull, a very small kind of Zoo with nice animals.
Back on the Dream we did the aquaduck, saw the Villan show and had our dinner. After a late night shopping we returned to our stateroom and balcony to watch the nightly skies.

Next morning we ordered in breakfast and enjoyed the last miles too Casteway Cay due to our aft stateroom we had a fantastic sight over the island.
Casteway Cay is fantastic, we rented bikes, biked over the island to the adult beach, had our bbq lunch and dipped in the ocean, wonderfull warm water. For the next hours we were in the water on our chairs, enjoying the sun and off course got a sunburn. At 5 p.m. we took off to the ship, got our pictures at Shutter's and did our last dinner.

The last morning we enjoyed breakfast a la carte and we had to leave the Dream. Our feeling after the cruise was great and the next time, we do the cruise at the end of our vacation. We even booked a dummy trip because we are looking for a B to B cruise in 2014.

We had a wonderful time on the Dream, we needed more time to do all the the things but we will come back.
