Thanks for those photos! Is the fridge in that dresser? It looks like there is less storage space than the old armoires.

Thank you for posting!! I am not going till 8/12 but have requested the new Princess Tiana rooms. Was going back and forth between the 2 because of the extra cost but these rooms look really nice so I may change and save the money.

If you want a full 360-degree view of one of the new POR rooms, try http://www.portorleans.org/images/pa...18-pano360.swf

Not sure how to embed Flash into in a VB posting though, sorry.

So pretty! I really, really love the wall color. Are all the rooms that color?

I've only ever stayed in AB, so I don't have any idea what these rooms looked like before. But they are just fantastic now. I'm with a previous poster, I'm debating whether or not it's worth it to book a royal room when these rooms are so pretty.

We stayed at AKL in 2007, it was well worth the price; you should stay there at least one vacation and then go back to a moderate, like we are. We''re going in 26 days and staying at POR, we stayed there in 2009 and fell in love with them place. We go to Disney every other year.

Did you notice the Mickey ears on the brackets of the shelf on the wall? They are a little hard to see but they are there!

Thanks for the pics! I've been trying to decide what to do - Off-Property Wyndham LBV or POR. I think POR has won. LOL!

So cute that even the A/C unit got a refurb!

Two questions: Were the beds queen or doubles? And where's the fridge? I assume the big door on the dresser where the TV is?

Thanks!
Jackie!

Beds are queens, and yes, fridge is in the big door of the armoire

Someone did a great job with that 360 view! I never thought I'd add POR to my list for my next trip, but on it goes!

That someone was me, glad you liked it. Thanks also must go to the incredibly helpful guest services manager who took time out his morning to let me spend the time setting up and shooting a set of images in an unoccupied room. He's hiding behind the bathroom door during that segment of the shot by the way.
