DCL has announced the itineraries a short time in advance, but the prices were unknown until opening day - when only the Platinum and Gold Castaway Club members could book. Even then, the prices weren't available online until booking was open to the general public.

A March Break trip to the Bahamas would be an great option for our second cruise (and my sister and her family's first). Leaving from NY would make it all the more possible both in terms of travel time to the port and airfare costs to the port city.

In 2012, the Magic will sail out of NY from late May until Late September. Then it will sail from Galveston from late September until the end of December. I think it will continue to sail from Galveston in January and February, and possibly move to NY in March. All of this is pure speculation.

Can't wait for itineraries to come out, we also have a dummy date in 2012 that we are hoping to move to a Fantasy itinerary in 2013!

How....by being a platinum/gold Castaway Club member. All bookings have to be called in since the option to book online is not available until the general booking date opens.

My 2013 rumor is that Disney will be back in the Med.....this was mentioned several times by crew members on our med cruise this summer.....

Travel agents are usually notified about the date, and then someone posts it on the DIS.
