Tracy Arm calving glacier hits small tour boat/video

Ice chunks from calving glacier hit Alaskan tour boat
Watch closely and you can see chunks of ice flying by and landing in the water.
I hope the woman is ok.

We were watching several youtube videos of this last night. It's pretty awesome sight! However, I think it's an interesting commentary on humans as well. The people see the glacier start to break and you can hear comments on various videos "cool!" "look!" "wow!" Then as the giant piece falls it turns to, "omg!" "What?!!?" And other comments that indicate, "Maybe we shouldn't be just standing here!"

Nature is pretty amazing. That glacier calving is an incredible vision.

We thought it was pretty interesting how fast the tour operator got that boat out of can see the black smoke from his engine blasting off.
What a shame for those people. I think it was probably a land-based tour.
After seeing the glaciers up close from a huge cruise ship, I don't think I'd want to be out there in a small boat.
