Thanks for reading along! The picture you were missing was probably the one that pointed out "Christ's Home Office" in Paradise, PA.

As for the explosion... impressive!

BTW - you should have driven through Intercourse and Bird in Hand - that would have given you stuff to joke about for days!

Looking forward to reading about the rest of your trip!
Jen! Thanks for following Kathy over here.

I was trying to come up with a more florid description of the PA Turnpike and basically came up with this:

You gotta love PA town names. I'm sure none of my readers would get tired of those jokes, but then again, this is a highly classy and upper-crust Trip Report, and we can't allow ourselves to descend into the gutter. Now pull my finger!

So women are avoiding me? Strange, I just had a flashback to high school.

What happens in Intercourse stays in Intercourse.

I'm still shocked Kathy didn't run screaming from the restaurant. Or any of the other patrons, for that matter.

Well, that would never happen in OUR fan. Mostly because I moved the cheese ball bucket up to the front, so I could reach it easier. That's where all the dust is.

It wasn't a conscious decision by Mark. Cheeseballs just work themselves into the trip.

I was going to, but I figured that since the mail takes 12 days to go from Wisconsin to Delaware, the lag on the phone call would be terrible.

What is really funny is that most of the towns with the "interesting" names are Amish towns. I think they are a little racier than they let on!

A trip without cheese balls is like Phineas without Ferb.

We're sending a CD of our pictures to you guys. I'm debating carrier pigeon or Pony Express.

Well, they don't have TV, internet, iPods or Angry Birds on their smartphones. So besides cow-tipping, they have to find something to do.

Try smoke signals. Just let me know if you're going to encode the JPG files using big endian or little endian before you start.

Soooo close. I thought you would go for they lyrics to Werid Al's famous "Amish Paradise" (Youtube it - it's worth the 4 minutes of your life that you will never get back!)
There's no phone, no lights, no motorcar
Not a single luxury

If you want good Amish lyrics, Google the Electric Amish.

Totally had to google that. The "endian" stuff, not the smoke signal part.
