Shirley Temples on the DDP?
This is a strange and random question but are shirley temples counted as non alcoholic drinks on the DDP? Also, are the fruit frescas at Via Napoli counted as your non alcoholic drink too? TIA

A Shirley Temple may not be if it is considered a bar drink, even though it has no alcohol. You would have to ask at the restaurant because each restaurant might do things differently.
As for Via Napoli, they do not allow any specialty beverages on DDP.

Not all non-alcoholic beverages are included in the dining plan. It includes the basic fountain drinks such as coffee, tea, iced tea, soda, lemonade, etc. - essentially beverages that fall into the "free refills" category.
Some Disney owned restaurants will allow milkshakes, smoothies, virgin cocktails like the Shirley Temple, pressed pot coffee. We've gotten all of these as the adult's dining plan beverage. You'll have to ask at each restaurant if you see something on the menu. The milkshakes and smoothies cannot be ordered on the children's dining plan; I don't know about the Shirley Temple. The third party restaurants offer only the fountain beverages because they won't be reimbursed by Disney for anything else. If you want the Agua Fresca at VN you'll have to pay OOP.

Should mention that on the kids' dining plan you're pretty much restricted to the beverages listed on the kids' menu, most places allow soft drinks if you ask for them but they will probably not substitute virgin cocktails, smoothies or milkshakes. Some places might.
