My Number One DW Tip
Quote:
The Kiss Goodnight is awesome, but the time before that is cool too. I have a link from a trip a few years ago of us at EMH in the MK. It's not a long video but it shows how empty the parks are late night. It's about 30 seconds and it's mainly about a CM named Carl doing water art on Main Street. Still, in the background, you can see just how deserted the park is. I see now, after having watched the video again for the first time in a while, that I got pretty excited about his water art, but it was late, late and I was on a DW high. And if you can't be goofy on Main Street in DW, where can you be? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afQsz...eature=related If you can do rope drop and then make EMH until 3 a.m., you are -- in my mind -- hard core Disney and will reap the benefits of a line-free park for a couple hours. It's an amazing thing to do, run from ride to ride without waiting. THAT is my Number One Tip.

So much to say...
A - You won't be able to see everything. Do a list of what you really WANT to see,...and do what you can. B - Enjoy every minute of it. C - Enjoy the magic!!! D - Plan a few dining reservations if you really want to eat at certain restaurants. E - Enjoy a Dole Whip! F - Arrive at MK at rope drop...I cry everytime! G - Enjoy the various ways of transportation. i could go on & on... Plan ahead...but then, if it doesn't go according to your plan - it's ok! ENJOY! |

I like to watch the fountain at epcot... it is choreographed to music...Nice!
I also love Morocco at the WS you walk back into it and feel like you are in a different world.

This sounds corny but we like to take the boat to FW and get a beer at the trading post and then sit in front of trls end sipping beer and people watching until dinner at trls end.
Its also fun to sit and watch the water electric pageant from one of the beaches. |

I'm a sucker for shows and fireworks... I cry at "wishes" every single time I watch it. Saw Fantasmic for the very first time this year, and it was AMAZING. Definitely don't miss it if you make it over to DHS

If you are celebrating something special (would this be your honeymoon?), make sure to wear your special occasion buttons (or mouse ears if you are adventurous)! I've been on my birthday and on my honeymoon. The Cast Members were extra nice even offering a few perks... such as VIP seating for shows and fireworks, champagne with dinner, discounted photopass card, front of the line for rides...! There is no guarantee of course, but it sure made our trips extra special!
You've picked my favorite moderate resort... you will love it! It is very romantic! |

Head straight to Pangani Forest trail at rope drop- you'll have the trail to yourself, the CMs will talk candidly about the animals (like finding out about unannounced pregnancies) and you get some amazing photos. As soon as you're done get on the first train to Rafiki's and watch a vet procedure

Use your fastpasses they are free. If you get in a bind and can't make the exact time it is ok. Once the first time on the fast pass rolls around you can go at anytime during that day.
When you go into the 3D shows don't push to get in first everyone has to move across and the best view is in the middle. Get there when the parks first open if you can. you will get alot more done. If things get crazy take a boat ride. A little boat therapy can be calming.

Agreed! So so so very right. Don't try to do early EMH, park hop, then do late EMH... It does not work. LOL We tried once. I think we were in a coma until around noon or 1 the next afternoon.

Don't plan for or expect a "perfect" trip. Bumps happen, schedules change and best laid plans sometimes get shot. Plan for an enjoyable trip!
