Smile AKL - Wanyama Safari & Dinner

Hi

I am booking into the AKL early January into a 2 Bedroom Villa at the Kidani Village and would really love to experience the Wanyama Safari & Dinner. I have looked at sites and get confliction that this option is only available for guests staying at the AKL Lodge concierge. Is this correct? And sorry didnt know whether this should be posted here or dining. And has anyone done it we have a teen daughter - and I love animals.
Cheers

Wanyama is for any AKL/AKV guest, the sunrise safari is for concierge only. I did Wanyama in January and higly recommend it!

Agree! I was in a pool view room in May '10 and did it. It was worth every penny.

Wanyama is expensive but well worth it. We did the safari in April 2011. The dinner was also wonderful. We stayed at AKLV club level, but there was another couple staying at club level at the Polynesian on our tour. Nice experience.

Now I'm confused. I thought it was for AKL/KV guests only. How did Poly people get to go?

Other club level guests have the opportunity to book if it is not sold out for that day. They can't book way ahead but can check for same day availability.

Lucky them. When I stayed at AKL there were no tours like that.

The Wanayama Safari ranks as probably our favorite experience in WDW. It is pricey but worth every penny. From the guided tour of the savannas and the sundowner to the utterly fantastic safari dinner at Jiko. Great experience and worth it!

Thanks guys and for the pics also I am sooo looking forward to it, as it will be probably our only trip to Disneyworld - we get Disneyland but as we are from Oz we may not have the opportunity to get back Disneyworld area so I want to do everything and anything I can. Cheers

Does the total price, $190/person include tip on the dinner as well?
