Put your request in no more than 10 days but no less than 3 days prior to arrival. So a week before is good! I always call and have them add it to my reservation.

You can take your lapu lapu to the pool but it is bulky! Although the pool bar has great drinks and they do cost less if you don't have the pineapple. While I like a good lapu lapu (in a pineapple), the poolside drinks are so yummy you'll want to sample them all!!

I would like to try one of these but, I know if I got one my 9 year old would want one after she seen how cool it looks lol. Do they make those with something in it that kids could drink ?

I used to get the x-rated lemonade and now I think they call it poolside lemonade. I also make these at home now. They have vodka, xrated fusion liqeur (a passion fruit liquor), and LIGHT lemonade. So they are lower in calories but go down too easy

After last year's recommendation from guitarob (who I actually SAW at the POLY POOL with thenewmrsb - very cool!), I tried the banana cabana and I love it! The name is so silly (I was thinking banana hammock and couldn't stop laughing) but it is a yummy drink!

There is also a blue/green something and a peach something Obviously I tried the other drinks then lost track of what they were all called. HA HA.
Hehe, you saw me right after I finished a Banana Cabana I believe.

The Banana Cabana was my absolute favorite pool drink until last year when I discovered the Blackberry Peach Lemonade. That wins.

Now, as for mixed drinks at the restaurant lounges, I love me some Lapu Lapu, don't get me wrong, but last year I discovered the Kentucky Peach at the territory lounge. This drink is just absolutely amazing. They're a mix of Black Cherry Bourbon, Peach Schnapps, Sprite, a little mint and a couple other things that I've forgotten. Here's a pic of mine and Mrs. B's:

I've noticed that the lounge menus are pretty much standardized and I ordered up one of those whenever I found them (the only place I didn't find one was at the Belle Vue Lounge at the Boardwalk). They are very refreshing and pack a nice punch. They should NOT include a straw. They go down way too easily for that.

1 hr & 15 minutes just to make sure you don't feel rushed! I'm sure it will be more than sufficient. Have fun, what a great experience.

Any suggestions forthe best choices??
In July the bar was open while the outdoor movie was playing, movie started at 9:10pm, I think the bar closed somewhere before Wishes started 10:00pm! That was my observation when I was there. I remember being surprised it was open so late, but plenty of people were sitting around and drinking up. There time might vary according to crowds.

Yes, here are mine drinking their $10 Sprite about ten feet from the fridge with complimentary Sprite in the club lounge.

I imagine they could make a virgin version of anything, but I didn't want to simulate the drinking experience too much.

OK Poly experts I need tips/advice. I just changed our ressie from The Grand Royal Palm Club to the Poly Club level with a TPV. It is for my sons first birthday. I am a little freaked out to change hotels from my favorite The Grand but my 6 year old is begging to stay at the volcano hotel. It is all about pools at his age. I have visited and eaten at the Poly many times and have never actually stayed there. Those that do the club level how is the lounge compared others on property. My favorite club level is at AKL. How accomadating are they about requests. I know I am in the Hawaii building but I would prefer a first floor due to the strollers. I actually cant wait to stay here next month and my husband is warming up to the idea. I grew up staying at CR and usually stay at GF or AKL now. How are the cabannas also are they worth the fee. I might consider this for our departure day so we have a place to hang out.
