Welcome to Marion's DISign REQUESTS - Part Deux!

Remember, no quotes for any reason on this thread....they make me NUTS!

The rules that follow are the same as those posted on my previous request thread. I thank you for taking the time to read them.

Please note that I try to get requests done quickly but please be patient with me! I do not necessarily do in order requested. If a request is for a new DISign (like a resort that I haven't done in a particular format) it will take a little longer. If a request is for something that simply needs to be personalized or slightly modified, I will get to it quicker! Thanks to readers for inspiration, gratitude and appreciation. It means the WORLD to me!

And remember, please do not quote my DISigns back to me ever. These redundant images are TOTALLY unnecessary! and it makes my Photobucket account very unhappy.

Anyway, my memory is good - I know what I DISigned and for whom!!

Please be specific about any revisions you need the first time. Nothing makes me crazier than redoing and redoing a DISign because I was not given a clear request at the beginning. And go ahead and check with family or friends on their thoughts on an original concept. If changes are asked for I rather do them up front and do them once.

If Photobucket indicates that files have been moved or deleted, it is because I am better organized now and am also deleting old stuff.

Added 9/3/2011: To all.....please note that do to size, space and upload times I only upload JPG files and not PNG files. That means NO clear backgrounds.

Added 10/19/11: New policy.....if a DISer comes up with a really unique concept, I reserve the right to say NO to making a personalization of that DISign for a trip earlier then theirs.

Seems fair to me!!

Also, I will NOT provide clip art. I go to a lot of trouble and, yes, expense to search for clip art, scan from coloring books I have purchased and color in. The least someone can do is google!!

Likewise, if you would like a DISign without the text that is on my original....effectively a blank....please indicate why and how you intend to use it. Too many people have seen DISigns show up on Ebay and Etsy and claimed as their own by a person trying to profit from a DISigner's voluntary work. Quickest way to get me to stop DISigning.

And DO NOT PM your requests....I always check my threads but hate using PMs for requests.

All autograph cover requests require dimensions and orientation!


All DISigns for family groups must indicate the gender....no exceptions!

Also, I ask that you not change practically every single thing on an existing DISign....color, format, character, font, etc. I am still the DISigner and want some say in how my own DISigns look. I reserve the right to say NO to a change that I cannot be proud to have my name attached to.

Read my signature please. I want the file name and nothing but the file name provided to me for a personalization. Do not post my image....do not PM me....do not give me a location in a Photobucket folder and do not give me a post #.

Most of you are well aware that I require the jpg file name if you want me to personalize, update or modify an existing image. Some of you, however, may not know how to get this information...

Here are instructions for you....

From a post:

If the image is a thumbnail you can simply hover your mouse over the image and see the path on the lower left of your PC. Remember to only give me the jpg file name that follows the final =.

If the DISign is a full size image, right click on the image and select View Image Info. Right click once on the location line around the middle of the screen. Hit the END button on your keyboard and you will be taken to the part of the path that shows the jpg file name. Remember to only give me the jpg file name that, in this case, follows the final /.

From Photobucket:

Hover your mouse over the thumbnail of the DISign you want. On the lower left of your PC you will see the Photobucket path. Remember to only give me the jpg file name that, in Photobucket, follows view&current=


I now have hundreds and hundreds of JPGs on my hard drive in many many folders. I cannot possibly do my DISigning efficiently and quickly if I get annoyed trying to track down an elusive file!!

To get full resolution images:

go to Photobucket

double-click on selected image

move mouse to upper left

click on zoom in (double click should have zoomed to 100% but be sure)

then and only then move mouse to right and click on download

Most important rules:

And remember.....All images are for personal use only....not to be sold in part or in full....Disney copyrights apply to all Disney images.

I don't mind at all modifying one type of DISign, say a t-shirt one to be an autograph cover or an invitation to be a welcome letter ....or from WDW to DL, etc. etc. It is more interesting for me to do more than just personalize existing DISigns!

Just provide the JPG you want modified and I will do my best to get you what you want.

If it is a brand new concept, please understand if I ask you to start your own thread. I'm only trying to open up the request so you can get the best results!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Most personalized DISigns are stored in Photobucket in temporary files. Please save your requested DISigns as soon as possible....before they are deleted. I cannot guarantee that I can re-load them for you.

I posted on the old posting on page 246 about 3/4 of the way down. This is my first time posting. I think I posted everything per your request, but I didnt list this was for a t shirt . I have noticed that other have left that comment.

Again, I am tired of saying that the gender of each person must be indicated for all family groups. The spellings of many names is very creative these days and I hesitate to guess.

I tried to post on the other thread, but it is closed. So I will try here. I have look at your head designs, and don't see what I want. So I thought I would ask you to make me two different designs.
If possible, I want a bright pink Mickey head, with Lilo on side and Stich on the other, with the name Harper on it, in brown letters.
The other is a plain Brown Mickey Head with Harper written in bright pink.
