WDW Resort TV Channel

Ok, so every year my wife makes fun of me because (I don’t remember what channel it is) there is a station that shows all the schedules of the parks, and resort restaurants and I always have that station on BUT not for the schedules and the helpful information on the screen, but for the music that plays in the background. Does anyone else know what I’m talking about and do you enjoy the music?

I wish I did. Every year I am subjected to the Disney Must Do's (yeah, you know the one) that my daughter turns on the second we return to our room (and leaves me to turn off when she falls asleep or we go out again). If anyone can recommend another channel I think I will sneak into the room immediately after check in, change it and hide the remote control

Channel 19 is the station which gives the hours for the Theme Parks, Water Parks, Downtown Disney and etc.

Channel 20 is the resort station that lists hours for restaurants at your resort, pool hours, current gift with purchase promotion at your resort store and where you can find transporation options.

I always forget about those more specific channels. DD, age 3, loves watching Stacey and has it on non-stop. She can recite every line. Now when we walk by Splash Mountian, she'll scream out "You're gonna get wet!!!" We were there two weeks ago, and it was non-stop Stacey and "You're gonna get wet" everytime we were in MK. I was so grateful when we moved over to the Beach Club for our split stay, and our ressie for a studio had been upgraded to a two bedroom villa. At least DD had HER OWN TV to watch Stacey on.

I also put on that channel a lot while in Disney and it is mostly for the music. Love that music, as does my wife!

I thought I was the only one who LOVED the Disney Elevator Music.

It is a dorky tradition of mine on the first day we check in, I send the kiddos and DH to the pool, I put that music on and unpack and organize the room. I also listen to it every night to help me fall asleep. And to really embarass myself, Mouseworld Radio on Live365 plays that music at 8:00pm most nights.

YES!YES!YES! I love listening to that music in the background. The elevator music version of "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" has me humming during our whole trip. It drives my husband crazy when I put that channel on. It makes me so happy.

You definitely aren't alone! I have that on when we unpack, when I'm making food, or even if I'm just relaxing in the room reading while everyone gets ready for dinner. It's nice background music and is a clear sign I'm back in WDW.

You are not alone. Though I like both channels.

Stacey and the music are part of the visit.
