Reading some of the pre-Fastpass wait times makes me laugh at one of the threads I read a few weeks ago saying that Fastpass makes lines longer. I just can't see how that's possible.

My longest wait was over two hours for Space Mountain back in June of '86. We go in offpeak times now, so we don't get wait times anywhere near that now. I think we waited an hour for Toy Story Mania a couple of years ago.

In June, year before last. Saturday night. Passing Peter Pan, the kids wanna ride, says 30 mins on the board. Hopped in thinking it was more like 20 mins. It took an hour and ten minutes. At least we met another family from down the road in our state so it went by resonably quickly all things considered. If you can get some good conversation going, you can burn a half hour fairly quick.

In the last 5 trips generally we wait no more than 20 minutes about 2-4 times a trip, the rest of the time its less than 10 minutes. Usually the 20 minutes are unexpected, such as ride breakdowns, or incorrect posted times.

- I waited almost 30 minutes in the FP line for Space Mountain last year...yuk! Since DD wouldn't ride it, DW decided to skip it instead of waiting in the line after me. (DD is too big to "ride swap")

We generally go at slow times of year, as PP poster stated, if the stand-by line is more than 20 minutes, we either (a) get a fastpass or (b) come back another time.

I do remember back in the nineties (pre-Fast pass) waiting in line for Splash Mountain for almost 2 hours. That's why those that say "Fast Pass is broke" I always say "It's still better than the old days"

OH MY GOSH! We had the exact same experience! The sign said 15 minutes but it was a good 40+. Kind of messed up our afternoon!!!

We went May 22-28 and followed Touring Plans for each of the parks with a couple of minor modifications.

Many things we walked right onto. Almost all things the wait was well under 15 minutes. Our only 'long' line was Kali River Rapids...about 25 minutes.

I will never not do a "Touring Plan" again...those people have the smarts
