I'm just getting caught up since - just got back from a DW trip followed by 4 nights on the dream I wanted to thank you ladies for recommending the jalapeño marg at the Ditch. I like a little spicy and DH loves lots of spicy. He thought I was crazy for ordering the jalapeño and he ordered the original (and their original margs are SO good too) but I told him they came highly recommended (and we'd already had a couple originals on this trip ) so I wanted to try something different. You ladies ROCK I now have a new favorite drink at the Ditch!

And I'm only on page 5 so maybe you mention this somewhere but I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone stopped at the pizza window for a sangria on the way to Epcot. Once we discovered those sangrias we had to get one each time we walked to Epcot.... Because it is such a looooooong walk, it was pretty hot and we didn't want to get parched along the way!

I'm sooooo SAD!!!! We were in Epcot when you were on the 13th- How did we miss each other??? The next time I will be there is Nov 9-14th. And then May 4-6 before the Dream cruise May 6-10. Just to be clear. So this NEVER happens AGAIN!!!

And I love going there in May, too- it's perfect!

By the way- very excited you are buying DVC- it's vacation insurance. You will ALWAYS get to go back- that's the #1 reason I LOVE my DVC!!!

That's how I feel!! I have a looooong time until November!! Usually I get a mini fix in the summer by going to HHI and staying at the Disney resort, but this summer instead of taking a 14 hour drive to our vacation, we are taking a 30 minute drive to Bayonne and getting on a big cruise ship for 9 nights. But I am REALLY sad about HHI-REALLY sad.... So happy you like our adventures!! Thanks for reading!!

Missed you in Epcot on the 13th, too! I was hoping to catch you somewhere since we didn't leave until Sunday morning, but I guess it wasn't meant to be! Even spent a long time in La Cava that afternoon/evening whining about no crab tostadas! LOL

Sorry for the loooong hiatus, Tyler was graduating from 8th grade, and between that and 3000 things a PTA President has to speak at or attend in June, I fell a little behind. But school is out, our 25th anniversary has been celebrated (three times- although once was in an ER, but I'll explain that later) and I can do a little update before 75 people arrive for a memorial service in a few hours (I'll explain that later, too-). Sooo.....

We DISmoms, all SIX of us, walked back to Epcot-



And over to Italy for our dinner at Tutto Italia (you know- for the hot waiters Kara said would be there. ). On the way, we visited with a pretty new friend-







We checked in, and waited to be seated-



Of course, at a table with only the HOTTEST waiters... Right, KARA?????? Very quickly, we were given these-



And then we all studied the menu-



Some studied harder than others....



And admired this-



Well, you know we had to have the-Grand Antipasto Misto - Selection of various appetizers and specialities, generous platter served family-style. - $29.00



And Lonnie had Insalata Mista - Made with endive, arugula and radicchio salad with citrus vinaigrette. - $12.00 This was a yummy salad, the dressing was very good.



I was fading a little bit (that first day with the early morning flight gets a little rough around dinner time) so I ordered one of these-



Espresso Coffee Martini - $12.00 The drink that multi-tasks...it wakes you up AND knocks you out! Cheers!

Then came our entrees. I had Cannelloni al Forno - baked with spinach, ricotta, bechamel and parmesan cheese $25



It was good, but very rich and heavy on the nutmeg. Someone else had this shrimp risotto, which I can't find on any online menu-



Here's Farfalle - bowtie pasta, Italian prosciutto ham, peas, parmesan cream $23



And Penne Caprese - with crushed tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and basil $24



And i know Evie had Arrosto Di Vitello In Porchetta - veal roast, mushrooms, potatoes $29



I have to say, I thought her's was the most yummy- I wish I would have ordered it.



Wow, i must have REALLY liked it- I took 3 photos of it!

Lonnie ordered Salmon, but this is the closest I got to that.



After our entrees, it was time for some Lonnie humiliation! We always make her wear the Birthday button, and she HATES being the center of attention, so yea- it's pretty fun for all of us watching her crawl under the table at every restaurant! The hot waiter sang to her-



And left pretty quickly-



I guess he didn't want to get us too hot & bothered, LOL!! Well, for all her complaining about that Birthday button, guess what? She loved that dessert so much, she didn't share a BITE!



We paid the bill using my TIW, and went back outside....the pizza window was open at Via Napoli, and was drawing a HUGE crowd-



Evie took off after some unsuspecting tourist-



And we stopped to admire the pretty caramel in the window-





We were heading over to TT, it really, REALLy was time for a ride. On the way, it was getting dark-

I'm so glad you liked that one- we have made them at home and people REALLY can't believe it's a Disney drink!

And i had NO IDEA about the sangrai at the window!!! OMG!!! What a colossol screw-up on our part!! See, we really needed Cammie- she's the BWV expert, she would certainly have had us at that window. Wow...now we need to go back for a do-over on every walk to EPCOT!

I should know by now not to read your threads when I am hungry and there is nothing in the house.

So is it bad of me to be looking into your nov dates. Then finding out that the kids have friday off of school that week. Grr we are looking at renting points to see if we really want to buy into DVC when our christian (his non adoption put us in the hole $20 grand and we didn't even get a court date) loan is paid off. Only 1 more yr to pay on him

On a happier note. I am down to one kid at the house and no DH. (He is in Southern CA with his DM). Just sent a kid off to camp this morning at 4 am so I have a whole week of freedom.

I think it's GREAT you are looking at my dates!! I truly hope we will be there at the same time- I would love to meet you and all the kids! We are at BCV from Weds Nov 9th until Monday the 14th. I am really looking forward to being there with Sean- he hasn't stayed at BCV yet, and BC was where we always stayed before buying DVC in 2007- which would be the last time he was there, and I know he loves that hotel. So familiar to him. Lots of happy memories (of which i am sure he remembers every single detail!! ). I hope you enjoy your DVC stay- we feel like it was such a wonderful thing to do for our family, I love it sooooo much. If you have any questions about it, please feel free to ask- I'm ALWAYS happy to talk about it!

We're all fine- thanks for asking! Just very, very glad it's summer!

Enjoy your quiet house-this week Sean is off between regular & summer school sessions- so I kind of have the opposite at my house this week! Although I get to sleep late this week, so I am REALLY loving THAT!!
