That seems like way too much unless you'll be eating all table service.

My wife and I budget

$100 per day for food/snacks. This covers a breakfast, depending whether we stay at a DVC or Value resort, our big meal at lunch time and snack, sometimes a turkey leg, or ice cream and citrus swirl. My wife spends maybe $100 total on souviners for her children and the grandchild.

We are not big eaters and don't do signatures but it adds up quickly. Breakfast is $20-40 for the two of us. Lunch at a TS averages $40-60. These prices are after the 20% TIW discounts

Don't forget to calculate tips.

You would have a heart attack if you saw our budget for dining if you think that is too much!

DH and I budget $15 per meal for each counter service meal. We then check the menus of where we want to have sit down dining and add in that cost. We come pretty close to our budget every time we go to WDW.

$800 sounds reasonable. Your 10 yr old is still allowed to get the kids meal (except for buffets) since you're paying OOP.
We spend more, but we have at least one sit down per day, and I have a weakness for avocado margaritas!

I agree with the $100 a day number. It's always better to over plan and have to much rather than worrying about eating too much. But you can also look at the me is and get an idea of exactly what the costs are and what you might want to eat. Also figure in water, unless you carry a bottle with you.
