First dance - M&M?

Hi, we've finally decided to have a first dance, and have asked my planner if Mickey and Minnie can cut in 2/3 of the way into the song. Now my only worry here is.. what kind of dance do the characters do in this situation? Is it a typical shuffle to the music or something a bit grander? I'd like to know what I'm doing and totally forgot to ask my planner.

Mickey and Minnie typically "cut in" later in the reception. (They do 30 minutes "sets") If they came at the beginning, you would have to delay toasts, blessing, dinner, etc by 30 minutes.

Coming in later in the reception, there is a big introduction, and they will dance to a few upbeat songs with you and your guests. After that, they help you cut the cake, and the take personal pics with B&G and close family/friends in the lobby. No worries... your DJ will be very familiar with how it all goes down.
