So sorry I have been MIA
We had the end of the school yr crazies. Which lead to a "autism and FAS moment" Hopefully the drs changes up the boys meds when we go this week.
I started new day care child last week so that was a change too.
Other then some "moments" the kids are doing great.

We landed in Florida and hit the first ride of the trip
We were meet by a wonderful couple and auntie Bobbie.

They helped us so much with our rentals and loading up the vans. They were so surprised that we didn't have a "Ton" of luggage. He said he has had families with only 2 kids come in with more then we had I made the wife cry when I told her all the kids are adopted.

Love this shot of Ella and Auntie Bobbie

We split up since Bobbie needed to get her park tickets picked up. Loren and I took off to get checked in. Well somehow we got turned around and the other van beat us to the House of Heart by about 3 mins

I was a little disappointed when I found out where our villa was. I was hoping for one of the new ones, like we had last time BUT wow we had the best Villa in the whole place I think.
It was way at the back of the park under this huge huge tree
We did the classic picture with our name. I "Freaked" out because there was a HUGE lizard on the sign right at my eye level. Everyone got a huge laugh but my heart was pumping peanut butter for a while.
Sorry we took these on the last day so you guys could see the beautiful PURPLE villa we got to stay in. We took pictures of our wish granters with so they could share our day with us.
Trust me it was really purple.

That smart Tooth fair even knew to leave a dollar under the pillow for Hayden. (I was fast) and had the person that showed us our house really confused
He was so funny and scared Ella to death. He told grandpa to go open the other side so we could open the connecting doors. He told the kids there was a monster over there. Grandpa couldn't get the door open so Loren went over and came through the door making noises. Knowing the monster story. Poor Ella was shaking from head to toe.

We went at eat at Katies kitchen and had the best meal ever.

She was so scared about the monster but once we took her over there and she mellowed out fast. She did spend most of her time on our side instead of grandpa's side

That Tree was amazing I would love a tree like that in my yard. Like I said I really think we got the best house in GKTW. It was so quiet and the shade really helped with the heat. More on that later

WE BELIEVE IN MIRACLES! ~~Nearly twice as many children die from Congenital Heart Defects in the U.S. each year as die from all forms of childhood cancers combined.

Great family pic You can totally tell that you lost some weight before the trip!!! Hopefully the people at the airport don't see the amount of luggage we will be bringing with us for 10 days of Aisling customs/bows

After a wonderful meal at Kate's Kitchen (I think it was everyone's favorite of the whole trip) We went on the hunt for fishing poles. We went to Amberville Train Station to get poles. They told us we had to go to the House of Hearts. Loren and Grandpa went over there while the kids raced boats. Little Ella was able to free the pirate ship that according to the Angel volunteer has been stuck for weeks.
After a while Loren came back without fishing pools. He said they said they are over here. After a few phone calls we found the fishing poles. Then onto the next adventures of finding the fishing hole. We were told it was "that way" We finally ran into "Mary" which I think was the lady in the video and she helped us find our way. We had a great time. Avy had a few bites but never caught whatever was chewing on her line.
The big catch of the day was Jason catching Christian. We had 2 very excited little boys till they figured out they caught each other then it was disappointment big time. We had a lot of fun.

Off to our first meal at the Gingerbread house. The onto the marry go round.
This is Hayden's spot. It was so nice for him to just sit instead of trying to climb on stuff.

We went back to the villa and everyone but me changed into their suits and hit the pool. I went to the meeting to get our tickets. We were short 1 ticket so after a few phone calls and computer searches I got our tickets and walked back to the villa. It was after 10 by the time I got in. Thankfully the kids were all ready for bed and I finally got to lay down after my long day that started at 11:30 the day before

what an awesome start to the trip.....i'm finally gettting around to reading your TR. Glad everyone made it okay on the plane ride down. I know what you mean about those storms. It was a nasty weekend when we got back. Now with more tornados in the N.Metro my kids hate storms. Can't wait to hear more about the MAW place. It seems like a dream.

Can't wait to hear how Avy's legs did with just being out of casts. On a personal note, does she take a long time to get her gait back? My DD,9 got out of hers a little over 1.5 weeks ago. PT told me not to worry that the gait would "normalize" soon. Last time it bounced back but that is when she was 4.

Love that you guys were able to do this for all the kids

GKTW is amazing we took the time to really enjoy it this time around and so glad we did. The kids had the most fun there over the parks.

Leg is still healing we go back after the 4th to have it checked and hopefully they will remove the extra thing strap they added to it. Really I think they need a whole new brace made again. She normally regroups fast within a week. This time she has really suffered. She does want to play now which she refused to do on the trip. She really took it easy on the trip
Where do you go? We love love love Gillettes.

Sea World day
We were first in line for Mickey and Minnie. Well we were early and even had a wait a few mins
Ella was scared and mad she wanted to see Belle first. Loren and Grandpa went to the House of Hearts. So we didn't do the family shot. We had a lot of problems with our keys not opening the doors so they changed them all out for us.

We came out from Mickey and Minnie and Ella started to SOBBING, we thought she got stung by a bee sobbing, it scared us till we figured out she thought Belle had left. When we showed her that she just moved. Ella was all smiles. Look at her holding Belle's hand

The kids had a surprise when they turned around and found Goofy. He didn't have anyone in his line so he came over to hang with us

We had a quick ride on the carousel. Then went to eat some yummy waffles

We did our toe walking as an out patient basis in Plymouth/Maple Grove. The orthodics are being done by Orthodic Care Specialist next to Children's in St. Paul. We went from toe walking to heel walking. It is a balance I know but you just want to get them comfortable . Thanks

Never heard of those places. Jason is a major toe walker we gave up the fight. He would bust through the braces and even casting. It doesn't effect his walk that much and he had so many other things going on at the time. The therapist told us to pick our battles so we dropped it.
