Talking Wawa expanding into Florida

I'm so excited! I just heard on the news that Wawa is planning to expand into Florida. They specifically said they are looking to expand into the Orlando area.
DH is going to be so happy he can get his Wawa coffees and hoagies.

For those that don't know what Wawa is, it is like 711 but so much better.

Something tells me that the rolls for those hoagies just won't be the same. I have never had a suitable hoagie roll outside of the Philadelphia area. And that includes NYC and Chicago.

I totally agree. There is just something about an Amoroso roll. Mmmmm.

Personally, I'm not such a big fan of the Wawa hoagie any more. Back in the day, they were awesome. They were huge and filled with meat and cheese. Ever since corporate started regulating how much of everything (x slices of cheese and meat), they're no better than any where else.

Now their gas prices can't be beat, at least around here.

"WaWa" is also what all of the grandkids call my grandmother - none of us had ever heard it any other place until DH and I visited Williamsburg; she was tickled pink with her "souvenir" of an insultated cup with "her" name on it!

Sadly Wawa stopped using Amoroso rolls a few years ago.
That did change the taste of the hoagies but their still good.

I love their new cappuccino smoothies.

I'm jealous...I'd love to replace every 7-11 here on Long Island w/ a Wawa! Maybe they'll come to NY someday...

Very true, but they are on practically every street corner in Central/Southern N.J.

I guess I am partial to QuikTrip (QT) -- now, there's a c-store!
