rain forest pass

just found it myself......go to the amenities and gifts section, you will find the pass for purchase there. $15 for a day pass, you will be required to download a form to order and fax or mail it with payment.

The rainforest pass lets you access the rainforest room any time during normal business hours. Just in case you do not know what the rainforest room is....the rainforest room is a large spa room complete with heated tile seats and spa music. It has three types of saunas; Dry, Wet, and amora therapy. There are even aroma therapy showers. This area is in the Vista Spa on the 9th deck forward in an adult only section of the boat and is reserved for those 18 year and older. It is a great unwind room. I highly recommend it. However, just incase you want to make sure it is for you, you can purchase your day/cruise vouchers when you get on the ship. There are tours open to everyone on the first day of the cruise. Vista Spa crew members will show you all the treatments available as well as introduce you to the exercise area which is also located in their area.

Biggest Regret

We just cruised on the Dram May 1. I bought a 1 day Rainforest Pass for our sea day. My biggest regret was that I did not spend more time there! If I had to do again, I would have gotten up at the crack of dawn and went to the spa ASAP and revisited several times through the day. The tiled loungers were magical and the views from the hot tubs were amazing. Easily the best $16 I have ever spent.

Full disclosure, I do love hot tubs and saunas and showers. My favorite part of staying at hotels is taking a really hot shower with a new shower head. So, this was right up my alley.

Oh yeah!

BTW, I bought my pass on the first afternoon onboard. I just went to the spa & they hooked it up. It was charged to our room. I will be purchasing in advance for myself, my sister and my mother for our cruise on the Fantasy next year.

Can you bring a book to read while relaxing in the loungers...or is that frowned upon?

You can do that. My wife did, there was rarely anyone in there on our 10 day cruise.

Thank you, Gino. My favorite way to unwind is with a good book and the loungers in the Rainforest room looked just wonderful. Thank you for setting my mind at ease!

Just talked to DCL and was told for the 5 night Dream it is $48pp. I asked if there was a different price for a couple and she told me no. The pass is for unlimited use and must be purchased on board. I asked if there was anyway to pre-purchase prior to arrival and was told no. I guess we will make a beeline to the Spa as soon as we board!

For those of you wanting to read you many want to include your book light with you. I know i needed it in there for my kindle! Of course I am also blind as a bat and had on a sea sick patch so that did not help!

Spa services

We're booked for couples spa services on two different days of our cruise. Is the rainforest spa included?

We would like to know this also. Do we have to pay the $16 in addition to a spa service?
