are done. Dec 14th - arriving too late to bother with ADR. Dec 15th 1140 LTT 6pm LaHacienda Will just watch Illuminations from Norway Dec 16th 1150 Sci Fi Dine Inn 7:30pm California Grill Dec 17th 1130 Yak and Yeti Doing CS this evening but reconsidering the Plaza Dec 18th 11 Cape May Cafe (I may change this to the Coral Reef. Nilla's meal looked really good) 7:30pm Artist Point Dec 19th We'll play it by ear. Maybe hit the ice cream shop in Celebration

Cynthia, I loved your little kick up your heels moment when you realized you could do anything you wanted!
I know in truth you would have been thrilled to have Mary Ellen with you, but I love how you seized the moment and rolled with it!Thanks for the boat ride along! We always take the boat in - seems like so much less crowd, and just enjoyable. Mary Ellen, Glad your headache got better later in the day. Dying to hear about the alternative therapy!  Good job getting your ADRS done - looks great!

Been reading along but not posting like I should!
MEK-really hope the headache got better! There is nothing worse. I have been there with migraines in the past so I feel for you. Eandesmom-How neat to experience Disney by yourself! While I love being with my family, I think it would be great to be solo for at least a while doing what I want at my own pace. Too cute that you got a solo picture too. Love your pictures coming into MK. We have never taken the boat and I hope to write that wrong real soon! I have always wanted to try the Plaza. Anxious to hear your thoughts.

great updates!
"therapy" = Cynthia - BEAUTIFUL pictures!!! What a wonderful morning - visiting with MEK, having some quality time together and then being totally free! The only time I ever got close to that was when I went into a store and the rest of the family waited somewhere else and we met up! Of course, I would have stood around going, okay, what should I do? I'm not a good decision-maker when left to my own devices! We had lunch at the Plaza back in 2008 and really liked it. Haven't been back since. Might want to revisit it on our next trip. I think we will not be doing the DDP much in the future so it would be great!

More lovely pictures of POR....nice job taking them Cynthia. Cairo was in the news some this past spring with all of the flooding...it's the southern-most city in Illinois, where the Missippi and Ohio Rivers meet.

EandEsmom- I would like to try being alone in WDW at least once. I like to do a lot of things alone.I do love having company, but alone time like that is hard to beat!
Your pictures are very nice, I need to start taking more pictures. Photography was one of my hobbies, but I sort of stopped taking photos. MEK- glad that our therapy methods work well!

MEK, since our kids are grown, just about all of our travel is done during school days. Our next Disney trip is the day after Labor Day, as is all of our Disney trips now. My GDs will miss a few school days this trip, but also will miss the crowds!

I have to say Cynthia, as much as I love going to WDW with my mum or my best friend, I love spending time alone there! Having that freedom sometimes is very liberating and relaxing
I usually spend mine just wandering around and taking photos! Having friends to meet for lunch is always wonderful too!I love the sherpa shot of Mary Ellen! She must pack like I do...I also love the story of the awesome CM at POR! That makes me happy to hear - I'll have to look for him when I'm there in September! I love CMs like that who just love to chat with everyone and have a genuine "Disney" attitude. The boat ride to MK is absolutely one of my favourite experiences and I have to do it more often! Watching kids as you get closer and closer is very magical too. I've teared up more than once myself! It is also like a little break before you hit the park, which certainly looked mighty busy!
