When do Pop Warner crowds arrive and where do they stay?

Okay, thought I would ask part of my question in a different way. Maybe I missed something- which hotels do the Pop Warner crowds use usually? If we leave on 12/3, what are the chances we will end up in the midst of them. I mean more so at the hotel than at the parks. Do they come in early or the day the bowl starts?

They stay at the All-Stars and one of the moderates is the back-up resort (it has been the POR and/or CBR the last couple of years. I believe I read the dates for Pop Warner this year are December 3 - 10.

Some families will add extra days to their package and arrive early. They don't really start showing up in droves until Saturday morning - POR pro here; I leave on Saturday, so I just miss them.

As long as you are not at the same resort you may not even notice they're there. One year we were at POFQ when they were at PORS. POFQ was being used for their overflow. It was absolutely horrible. We swore we'd never go again during Pop Warner. However, this past Dec due to scheduling conflicts at my job, I had no choice but to go that week. I did a split stay at CSR and YC and never even noticed any of the Pop Warner crowd.

Really? Seems like that would be their fave as it's so close to the ESPN Complex.

They just don't..Disney still controls where it is going to block off rooms for the PW rate. They stay at the Allstar sports with overflow to the other Allstars and generally a Moderate resort- usually POR, but they have in the past been seen at CSR and CBR as well

There is no way of knowing. You won't know it until you see it on Pop Warner's website, which pops up after the local Championships are completed and they know how many teams are participating.

Disney will NOT announce it.

I have known some Pop Warner families.
I would skip the resort they stay at, no offense meant for Pop Warner familes.

My reason - some families of Pop Warner go to WDW just to support their DS sport. With that said, some of the families can not afford to spend time or the money in the parks and just either go to the sport events or hang around at the resort.

So bottom line, some Pop Warner families use the pool, rec room, CS alot, since they do not go into the theme parks. They could also go to DTD and browse the shops.

Pop Warner is Sport orientated, not WDW comando theme park visits.
