Sorry for the long wait guys! Works been hectic and I had a photopass deadline to meet, then I got a really horrible summer cold just in time for my birthday! But now I'm better and back and ready to crack on!

So when we left off we'd just finished the Maharajah trek and our FPs for Everest were ready to use.

I could tell my Mum was pretty nervous about this one, as she'd asked to see the drop when we got the FPs and then had been getting more and more anxious as we walked back over to EE from the monkeys. With each scream from the mountain I could see her questioning it.

We got to the FP entrance and she was still with the group, I checked she was ok and she said yes, so we got in line.

There was pretty much no wait at all, and we were put into the 4 back seats of the train. Mum and Dad first, then Jack and me, the Janey and Neil with Dave and Karen at the back in charge of the engine. (Love that touch.)

Soon we were pulling out of the station - there was no going back!

When we were going up the big hill we pointed out some sights to everyone, and remember how I said that at MK it had just seemed right having friends and family there with us? Well looking back on EE and seeing Janey, Neil, Dave and Karen was the only time of the trip that it sort of hit me how surreal it was. But in a good way!

We got to the bit of ripped up track and my Dad just loved it! I can't remember now what he said, but I remember thinking how great Disney are at stuff, and him agreeing. Jack and I were giving it the big "oh no! The Yeti ripped up the track!"

Soon we were hurtling through the mountain. A LOT faster than I'd remembered! I started feeling pretty guilty for making my Mum ride!

When we were done and waiting to pull into the station I asked how she was, and she turned round with tears on her face. Uh oh! Then she said...

"When's the big drop coming?"

She didn't think we'd done it yet!

Once we were off we looked through the shop and Mum was so proud of herself. Surprisingly her favourite part was the backwards section. She still talk about how much she loves that part! And often says how she'll ride again.

By this time we had been in AK a good couple of hours and Jack hadn't yet been on his favourite ride of all time! So we knew the next place on our agenda was Dinosaur!

During the walk over my lovely Mum was so excited and full of Everest adrenaline! She kept saying how proud she was of herself, and then said "I keep seeing and doing things and thinking 'I have to tell Torsie about that, she'd love it!' and then remembering you're here too!"

What a funny lady!

When we got there the line was 30 minutes and FPs 40. People were getting peckish so we grabbed FPs and headed into Restaurantosaurus for some early lunch.

I had a nice chat with the boy on the till who had only been working at WDW for a week. He was from Tennessee and had 6 months there for the college program. I asked if he would get to move around different positions and he wasn't too pleased when he told me no. I don't know if 6 months at a till was quite what he thought he'd get when he imagined working in WDW...

The guy who served us our food from the collection area bit was called Ulysses which I just thought was awesome. So I thanked him by name when he'd given us our meals.

This turned out to be a little bit of a mistake.

Ulysses was a lovely guy, but he was a bit slow I think, and I don't get the impression that many guests talk to him because of this.

He seemed to take a bit of a shine to me and followed us over to the fixins and drink area. He started talking to me about our wedding badges and we chatted about that. And I pointed Jack out saying he's the groom. He helped me get my straws and stuff and I said thanks and then as I was going to join the rest of the group who were sitting outside he said "I'm sorry" to me.

I felt really bad in case I'd somehow given him the impression he'd annoyed or upset me. So asked why he was sorry. To which he replied.

"For him" and pointed to Jack!

I laughed and said bye and went to sit with the other before telling them who all found it hilarious! I'm still not sure if he really meant it or he wasn't quite sure what he was saying. In any case it was a funny time!

Once we sat down we assumed Ulysses would head back to working over at the counter but he stood indoors at the window and watched us eat lunch. A little unnerving. I hope I didn't upset him!

Anyway after lunch (mine came in a bucket which I gave to a little girl nearby) of hotdogs, burgers and a shrimp Po-Boy for Dave - who I think got it purely because he found the name so funny!

It was finally the time Jack had been looking forward to for the last 18 months! Here he is - very impatient!

He all but ran over to the ride and we were straight into the pre-show. I think the Dinosaur pre-show might be my favourite as it's in such good spirit. I just love that whole Disney vibe of stuff never going straightforward.

Once on the ride we warned everyone to hold on as it was a bumpy ride. I may have said something about Dave holding onto his Po-Boy as well!

Everyone loved their trip back into the past and luckily we just escaped the meteor and managed to come back with one more passenger - extra large!

(Sorry - I'm not the best at rednecking!)

After our ride we didn't have too long left in the park as we had to get back to AKL for Jack and Dave's suit fitting at 3. But we wanted my parents to have seen all the animals so we headed over to the Pangani trail.

We walked the trail,which was great, but I was sad to not see the Meercats as they are my dad's favourites.

Then once the trail was done it was back on the bus to AKL, while Janey and Neil jumped a bus to Coronado Springs as Jack's mum had arrived the night before and was staying there.

Sorry this took so long, and that there weren't many photos taken! We were still pretty soggy from Kali, and when I'm excited I forget to get the camera out sometimes!

How brave was your Mum? I'm so glad she enjoyed Everest in the end, sounds like she'd do it again no problems! And I'm glad Jack got to ride Dinosaur. I'm not too keen on that ride, it's just too bumpy - but we had an awesome time in there when we broke down and had to be 'walked' off the ride. Those beasties don't look quite as scary with the lights on

And suit fittings...that means we're getting closer to the big day!

Did you order them to hire over there? I was wondering what I'd do for Simon & Co. when we go.

We overlapped! We got married at the WP on 4/2! We were at the GF from 3/30-4/4. Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip!
