Just reserved our 12/3 @ 7:20pm!! What a relief!

What time does the parade usually start? is there time to see the parade if dessert reservations are for 9p (for regular Wishes show) or if we have 830p reservations on a day where there's MVMCP? Would hate to miss the preceding parade.

I think it has to do with the grand opening. It would not surprise me if is reserved for a private party. I tried 12/4, 12/7, 12/8, 12/9, and 12/11 and asked for 50 guest and all of those night had availability. I find it hard to believe Dec 5th and 6th would have filled up so fast.

Had my entire itinerary planned around the 5th but like everyone couldn't get it. Got the 3rd and 8th. Not sure which I'll end up keeping because I'm going to have to change a bunch of other stuff to make it happen.

Not only did they shorten the park hours on the 5th (closing an hour earlier), the aren't doing the Dessert Party and they aren't doing MSEP on that night. Now I've got to choose between seeing the MSEP or the Desert Party on one of those other two nights. Which would you choose?

Man what a mess!

Spending two weeks in the World in December and thanks to this thread and an unhealthy obsession I scored the 7th, 10th,11th and 12th. Two Xmas parties, two regular nights.

For an extra 23 and change a head its worth getting a comfortable place to relax away from tape on asphalt, the Z ticket stroller assault ride, and have some delicious desserts with hot coffee and a show.

Booked the 19th awhile ago thanks to these updates. So excited! Just to confirm, the timing in which we make the reservation and not the time of the reservation is what effects seating?

Heart attack!!!

I was on the road hoping to get home and watch more...but at 3:30 I logged in on my smart phone to this list and OMG OMG OMG...it's OPEN!!!

I freaked out...cause I knew they DON'T have this event on the mobil version of WDW Dining Reservations!!!!

so...long story short...raced home (if you can call crawling through road construction "racing") and was still able to get my booking for 6 adults on the 10th...

whew...think I need some wine!!

Thanks everyone for all your input and support in helping me (and everyone else) get through this stressful time...
