We don't. We plan a TS lunch and then a CS dinner at least 2hours before dessert party so we are usually hungry for desserts by then.

But, if I did eat a TS dinner I'm sure I'd find room somewhere for desserts!!

We did the Wishes buffet in March. As we don't eat huge lunches, we just had dinner a bit earlier than usual (around 5 PM), which then gave us enough time to get to the MK early enough to still do some rides before the buffet started.

We have a 5pm TS at Kona before the 9pm dessert party. I will probably skip dessert at dinner - or maybe get something a little healthier for dessert like the fruit fondue. My main reason for booking the dessert party was to secure a spot to view the fireworks and not fight the throngs of people closer to the castle

the dessert part was secondary for me.

We have a 5pm res at Ohana. Like the previous poster, I'm more concerned about the reserved spot for Wishes vs. the desserts. Wishes is at 10pm, however, so don't get me wrong....I'm sure I'll be able to eat SOMETHING while we're there!

Between Ohana's bread pudding and the strawberries at Wishes, I'm sure we'll be on carb/sugar overload!

We have a lunch reservation around 1 at Tony's and will probably only have something small there and before the terrace party.

I was thinking a really late lunch before ours- maybe 3ish??? We wanted to do Be Our Guest for the latest lunch we could- hopefully it will be open by Thanksgiving.

We're still waiting for August to open up.

On the day I'm hoping to go, we're doing Sci Fi Diner for lunch (as my husband does Lunch with an Imagineer, thanks to Santa

) I figure we'll do counter service for dinner, then have enough of an appetite for the dessert party.. .IF we can get reservations.

We Re also doing Kona at 5pm the night we do desserts. I much preferred the dinner menu at Kona so I was willing to make the sacrifice to be completely stuffed that night!

I was just looking at the firework schedule for July 3rd. It seems that they are doing Disney's Celebrate America! at 9pm. My seating for the dessert party is at 8:10 on the 3rd. That seems too close together. I am wondering if Disney's Celebrate America! is really at 10pm like Wishes seems to be the night before. Just trying to figure this out and what other people thought.

Where did you find the schedule, Tandy?

In answer to your question, I've read in other posts that the fireworks are earlier on July 3 & 4 in MK. Will try to locate one & post it here for you.

Also, we have 2 different dessert parties reserved (3 different sets of family going) - the one in June has a 9 PM time - the one for the 4th of July has an 8:10 PM time - just like yours, which leads me to believe the FW will indeed be earlier for the 3/4th...

Thanks so much for this thread, Sheila!

Last time we did the Dessert Party we had a late CS lunch and it worked great for us. Would really like Be Our Guest late CS the day of the Party this year...long time to wait to book in November for our December trip, but definitely do not want the summer to fly by...time moves too quickly already these days!
