We are on the 7 day Magic cruise for this Thanksgiving. Never done a holiday cruise before but the thought of taking a week vaction and only using 3 vacation days from work sounded like a great idea. Plus no cooking, cleaning, driving to 3-4 different houses over the weekend.
I told the family we will not be around for thanksgiving but if anyone wants to go on a cruise with us I will gladly book them a cabin..LOL

Sorry, I never saw it listed anywhere. It was a real bummer, you'd think with all the kids running around that they'd have it at least on the tv in the cabin. But, nope. I missed it, because I didn't even think to DVR it back home. Oh well, this cruise was well worth it! LOL!

PS
I gained 3 pounds on this cruise and that was with taking the stairs, going to gym, swimming and ride bikes at CC. Must have been the two Thanksgiving dinners I ordered that night! LOL!

My family is doing the Thanksgiving Cruise this year on the Dream. It's just myself, DH and DS7. I did this for three reasons
1. This will be our first family vacation with just three of us.
2. Don't have to spend all day in the car going from family to family and arguing about who's house we stay at the longest
3. It's Disney!!!!

Thank you for posting about the food. I'm just wondering if my son will be able to swim. What's the weather like during Thanksgiving?

It'll depend on where exactly your ship is and how cold you think is too cold to swim. Cozumel average temps for the third week in November are high of 82 low of 72 with average of .5 inches of precipitation.

I'm so happy I found this thread when I searched. I am giving it a bump so others going over Thanksgiving can see it.

I am sooooo happy that they still have Lobster Tail on the menu. DH will probably be just as happy that he can have his traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

We will be on the 2013 Fantasy Thanksgiving cruise.

Since that is on NBC, no, they don't show it.

I actually did a search and found this thread just a few days ago! Looking forward to being on the Magic for Thanksgiving. This will be our first time being away from home at Thanksgiving.

We have gone on two Thanksgiving cruises, and loved them both. Once we went on the Wonder and once on the Dream. While the ships were decorated with Christmas decorations, there was a festive Thanksgiving atmosphere. My only concern is that the weather was coolish and I was hoping for some hot sunbathing weather.

The food was wonderful. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday so I could order Turkey and all the fixings. My husband ordered the fish. It is so much fun!!! We will definitely go again.

Since this is an older thread, are there any more recent Thanksgiving menus?
