Since the original thread starter has switched her cruise, I have volunteered to organize the new meet thread. If everyone could please re-announce themselves on this thread, (members of their party, and number of cruises) since there have been a lot of people switching reservations around on the old one, I would greatly appreciate it.

I plan on editing this post as necessary so that we always have a quick summary of who is going on this cruise for the first post, and also having other important information here.

I'll start.

I'm DVC_Chris, travelling with us will be my DW and soon to be DD, who will be 1 at time of cruising. Depending on how things work out, this will be our 8th or 9th Disney Cruise!

This will be our first ever cruise for all of us:

Me - Mary - family Disneyholic and proud of it
Mom - Elsie - we'll be celebrating her X'tieth birthday a few weeks early on this cruise

I've been wanting to go on a Disney cruise for quite a few years now and I can't wait!!

An here I am again. I will be on the cruise with my daughter, Ruby, who will be 11. Also coming is Gramma Cathy and Grampa Pierre for their first ever cruise (it will by Ruby's second and my third). Looking forward to the next 16 months on DIS!

This cruise will be our second Disney cruise (and second cruise ever) having done a Western itinerary on the Magic in September 2009.
We have:

Just remember, today we get the official DCL announcement about the rest of 2012. I know I will be trying to sneak a cruise out of NY before this one.

we will also be on this cruise myself Leslie dh Terry and Grandson Jordan who will be 16, also joining us will be my daughter Jennifer and 2 of my other grandchildren Tori 15 and Logun 8. waiting to see if my daughter Jolene will be sailing as well. This will be a 3rd disney cruise the last one being the end of Jan, on an eastern we took Logun , it was his first cruise. Took Tori and Jordan on the western Nov.2009, much prefer the western and so this is a done deal!Daughter Jennifer has never cruised so its her first, everyone is excited that they will be sailing on the new fantasy!Grandkids loved the clubs and look forward to making new friends once again.we are in stateroom 7104, any thoughts on the fe exchange we have done this on both cruises and had alot of fun with it. Looking forward to chatting with everyone till we set sail , wish it wasnt so far off!

I know it is a long way off, but only 500 more days from today we will be onboard!

I think if there is enough interest we will organize a FE exchange, but should probably wait a few more months to start doing it in earnest.

I know I'd love to do an FE exchange. I've been reading a bunch about it and it sounds fun.

We are also interested in the FE. We did it last cruise also and the kids loved it. They have already talked about it this time as they see it as part of the cruise.
Forgot to mention our cabin numbers. We are in 6574 and 6576.

5oo days well we should all know each other pretty well by time of sailing! I will be going to disney the end of september for the food and wine festival with my sister and a friend so for now I will be busy with the planning for that trip, when we get back it will be all the more closer to the cruise and will start to think about where and for how long we will be staying at the world once again. stayed at the poly before the cruise in Jan. , like to try different resorts each stay but my favorite is the yacht club so far. staying at the caribbean beach in september and love it there as well. So new ports anounced today, interesting but Im sticking with this cruise and the new Fantasy!

We have 2 cabins on deck 2 at the moment reserved for this cruise. I still am wondering if that is where we want to be, but at least we have reserved spots.

This will be our second Disney cruise and our 4th cruise overall (first time for a week and first Western). We are all super excited for this trip! Our eldest especially loved the last Disney cruise - kinda funny.

my grandson loved the clubs as well, he will be 16 when we sail so im sure he will meet your sons in the club, maybe when it gets closer to sail date we can arrange a meet on the ship , we did this on the last 2 cruises with other dissers that way the kids got to meet before actually going to the clubs ,it
worked out well.met up around 230 , for kids that are a little shy it made it much easier for them when they were headed to the club for the first time,

I'm so glad we have a few mid-teens going. While my son is somewhat outgoing and can make friends fairly easily with other outgoing teens, my youngest brother is painfully shy and very quiet. I've suggested that, as we get a little closer to our sail date and we get a list of teens who will be on this cruise, they may want to sign up on the DISboards themselves and start chatting with the other teens on our cruise. Maybe even get a teen thread started for this particular cruise.

sounds like a good idea, I so wish it was this august we were going. Im thinking about keeping this a secret from the kids, they know we are going on another cruise next year but dont know the actual date. Was thinking to let them know the night before we fly down to orlando, most likley we will do a few days at disney or universal before the cruise, well at least Ive got lots of time to make my mind up about it all!
