Best Resort for 5 People in a Room?

We are planning a trip to WDW in November, but this time we will be taking my nephew with our family of four. What is the best resort for five people to stay in one room? The boys will be 9, 7, and 4. TIA!

Check out POR with the trundle beds. It will be nice to save some money and have extra space Then you don't have to get a suite or 2 rooms!

With boys those ages I would think Contemporary would be perfect for you. The rooms are large and have 2 queen beds and a daybed. Great that you can walk to MK from there. I'm sure the boys would love the monorail.

Another option would be the Poly that also has large rooms. The nice thing about the Poly is that you can walk to TTC to catch the direct Epcot monorail.

You could consider POR which is the only moderate to hold 5. Or the Family Suites at All Star Music are nice too and with that you would get a queen in the bedroom pull out sofa, chair & ottoman for the boys and 2 bathrooms and 2 tvs. We loved the layout of the suites.

You could also book BWI, YC, BC, GF, cabins, or 1 BR villa at AKL or BayLake Towers.

You asked what resort is best for 5 people in a room. I'm guessing you are asking which resort has the biggest rooms? If I'm not mistaken, I think GF does. But I think, Contemporary is second largest, but quite a bit cheaper. Maybe someone else can verify, as I've never stayed in either. But I've stayed in Poly, and those seem plenty big to me.

Now if you have other concerns, such as how to entertain all those boys with fun pool activities, then I'd tell you to book at YC/BC.

Thanks everyone! There are so many choices that it is overwhelming! I'm sure the boys would love to be on the monorail. I just want to make sure that there is actually enough space for all of us in the rooms that say they can accommodate 5 people. And don't worry, princesscharming, there are so many things at WDW there is no way those boys will get bored (although I would LOVE to try Stormalong Bay some day)!

Beach Club can also accommodate five...
of course, if you are looking to get the most bang for your buck, POR or ASMuFS...

Poly rooms are bigger

If you are going to stay at one of the monorail resorts, the Poly has bigger rooms than the CR. There is also a dresser with 6 drawers so you can unpack your suitcases and get them out of your way.

That's what we landed on too after lots of research...Contemporary!

I would go with the Contemporary because their rooms are among the biggest of the Deluxe Resorts and their room rates are the least expensive among the Monorail Resorts, so that's great if you want to save some money.

AKV..Kidani building has a very large (807sqft) 1 bedroom that sleeps five and also includes 2 full bathrooms which is a huge help when everyone needs to get ready at the same time.If you rent points from a DVC member you can also save more money than going thru Disney direct...

Hmm, I hadnt though about renting points. How does one go about that? Is it more or less expensive than a monorail resort? (We have to save money for souvenirs, right? ) Also, if you rent points can you still do the dining plan?

I agree with the PP. I would go with a villa at Kidani Village. You will get 2 bathrooms with a 1 bed villa or 3 bathrooms with a 2 bed villa. It is great to get privacy from your kids in the evening. You would also have a full kitchen, which is great for a cheap lunch or just making some snacks.

You kids with probably get a real kick out of all the animals and the AKV pools imo are some of the best on property.

Here is the chair that makes a bed at BLT 1BR-our son said it was great. And there are 2 full baths here as well.
