Disney Dream Makers

Has anyone else used the Disney Dream Makers? I love the idea of them sending either a great bouquet or, if we stay at one of the resort hotels, decorating the room, since we're flying in on my daughter's birthday.

I'd love to see an example of their work, or hear about anyone else's experience...

I fell in love with DLR, whats not to love. Fantasyland, Toontown, Nemo and so much more. Both parks and DTD are full of little Disney touches that make it truly Walt's park. Mickey Pretzels, Mickey Gingerbreads, Mickey pancaks. Yummy. It is truly th

Just thought I would give this a bump for you. Would be interested as well. Have seen photos awhile back but they are older, would be interested in hearing recent experiences.

I'm interested too! We always do a welcome gift for my daughter at WDW through Memories by Betsy, and she does a wonderful job. I'd love to hear more about Dream Makers. I've looked around online a bit, but not much other than just repeating what is on the Disneyland site.

They have cute stuff, but it's expensive! If you want flowers, it's WAY cheaper to just call a local florist and have them deliver. That's what dh did to surprise me on our trip. They delivered to our (DLH) before we got there. Dh went and checked us in and told the front desk he had flowers that were to be in our room. They had them sent up and they were there before we got up to our room. And it was $40 cheaper than doing it through Disney Dream Makers for pretty much the same boquet.

Thanks Dahlia! It isn't something I'd want to do all the time, but I think she'd get a kick out of it on her birthday.

It looks like several of us are hoping to hear more about it, or see pictures, so if anyone has any, please do post!

Hi There, is there someone in Disneyland that does baskets or something to the Good Neighbor hotels? I know the Dream Makers only deliver stuff to the Disneyland Hotels, and as much as I would love to stay at one of those, it is not possible.

Yesterday I ordered an Easter basket from the Dream Makers. The lady on the phone was super nice. They are delivering it to our hotel room on the 23rd and will put it in the closet. It has a Stitch Easter plush and lots of candy. I thought it was nice that they'd hide it for me! It was $68. Having ordered gift baskets before, I actually thought that was fairly reasonable.

She also said they are doing an egg hunt on Easter Sunday.

Yeah, I don't think they deliver to off site hotels, which is what I would need.

They don't deliver to off site hotels but will make available for you to pick up at the front desk.

Thanks Sabrecmc! You'll have to sneak a pic or two for us.

We're trying to decide between the Hojo and DLH. We've always done Hojo, but I'm leaning towards DLH for an expensive change.

The Hojo did tell me that their gift shop can also put together a gift basket and deliver to the hotel room before we arrive. I don't know if that helps anyone. You can call their front desk and they'll help you.

I don't know if this will happen at one of the DLR but when my daughter was turning 10 we were staying at Pop Century at WDW. I called the front desk at Pop Century and asked if they did anything special for birthdays. They told me no but that I could get one of the birthday buttons for her to wear in the parks which we did. The night of her actual birthday we returned to our hotel room to find an 8x10 autographed Happy Birthday photo from Donald Duck and three helium balloons. A very cool keepsake and made her birthday extra magical!

The baskets CAN be delivered to some of the Good Neighbor Motels. They don't leave them in your room, but will leave them at the front desk of your motel. We did this last summer at the HoJo & had the Unbirthday Basket delivered for our son.

I just e-mailed Disney Vacation Planning this week and they can deliver all baskets to Good Neighbor Hotels but they can not deliver cakes or other treats like cookies. I have the whole list and their prices but it's at work!
