oh! Poor guy! I don't blame him. I hate to swallow too when I am sick. I have a hard time sleeping when I get sick like that cause I basically won't in my sleep... and I have to wake up to force myself. I know...strange... just saying I don't blame him. I hope he feels better soon.

He has strep throat. Been laying on the couch since we've been home from the doctor. Poor guy.

Omnicef is what the doc wrote for.

Probably. Hope that doesn't mean dh is getting it too.

He is having a hard time keeping awake. He slept all night really good. And is barely awake on the couch now.

Discovered that dh's card on file expired in March. Got the notice a couple days ago that his card denied payment. Turns out he owed 3 payments each on his, Grumpy's and Anakin's passes. My pass is on a different credit card. We were able to fix this over the phone, so we went to Epcot.

Poor Anakin is sick. Yesterday he started with a sore throat. With his sensory issues, he is refusing to swallow unless he is drinking. I didn't realize this until I found his shirt on the floor and all wet. I thought he spilled water on it, until he explained to me how it got wet. Gross!!!! Explained to him how uncool it was to spit on a shirt, and that many people get sore throats and it hurts like blazes to swallow but they still swallow. Ice cream and ice water went down ok. I froze orange juice and apple juice in his Mickey popsicle mold.

Now the fun of finding the right medicine for him that won't interact with what he's taking and won't lower seizure threshold. He goes to the pediatrician for 8:45.

Ironically I had that same issue with our Disney APs. My card was upgraded and I didn't think about it for a few weeks and then when I was doing my bank statement I notices that Disney didn't take their payment. I fixed it when I realized.

Poor Anakin. I hope that he feels better soon. It is no fun to be sick.

Good thing you caught it. Or the back pay on it could be pricey.

He feels so much better today. But he has a rash all over him. He calls his rash The Polkadots.

He's able to talk, eat and drink. A big improvement over yesterday.

The rash looks worse now than this morning. He feels tired but "good" now. He just ate lunch and yesterday he couldn't eat a bite, and even drinking or eating a popsicle was too painful. So I think his throat is on the mend. Now for that rash to start disappearing.

I found it interesting that the pediatrician on call wasn't aware of which antibiotics lower seizure threshhold or which interact with his meds. I usually bring the list with me because it makes it easier for the doctor to have a quick reference. She said if I have to call back today or tomorrow to get his antibiotic changed to remind her about the seizure threshold and drug interactions. I really liked her, but it concerns me how even the ER staff in our town doesn't understand seizures. I think the EFOF needs to have an inservice in our area. Another reason I think we need to move to Orlando to be closer to Arnold Palmer hospital since they are a level 4 Epilepsy Center.

How can they seriously not have someone on staff that knows these things? Yes, I know I would want to be closer to Arnold Palmer too. Thankfully you know like you do.

I am glad that he is on the mend. When I was reading earlier Scarlet Fever was my first thought. Feeling better if the best thing!!

Boo got a rash like that once after starting and antibotic for strep. The doctor says sometimes that happens...but it was and from then on he can't use the "real" pencillian.

I would want to move closer too to someplace that knows about seizures...

I got an email that my photopass cd shipped yesterday!!!

I'm going to do a separate TR for SWW. I'm trying to think of titles for this SWW TR. My creative juices aren't flowing and you all are so great at coming up with titles. I've got...

1. Star Struck at Star Wars Weekends

2. Star Wars Weekends Done Differently

3. Pixie Dust and Star Wars Weekends

4. Four Weeks of the Force

5. Son Arrests Dad at DHS

6. The Force is Strong in This One.

Yep, that's about all I got. Any suggestions?

I like number 2. It sticks with your general theme. Although, number three is cute and works well with your name.
