We were concerned about his head being wrapped for the EEG, but he actually loved the "turban". There was a small box inside it, so it looked like a smurf had. He liked the deep pressure it put on his head. It was a pain that he could only move about 3 feet because of the video cord.

He watched all of the 3rd season of clone wars and Dolphin Tale. DVD's he got for Christmas. He also built a couple lego sets he got for Christmas too. So glad I made him wait to watch and build those. He wanted so badly to do those on Christmas day.

The day before the EEG we took him to see We bought a Zoo. Why do good movies have to have swearing? I cringed every time they swore. Thankfully he doesn't know the 2 words they used, but he repeats everything, so we won't be buying the DVD when it comes out.

Well so glad it is over, but sorry you didn't get the staring spell when you wanted it. So glad he actually got a kick out of the "turban" and had some fun. He seems like such a laid back guy anyhow.

ugh, hate that too on movies and tv shows are even worse!

Things are busy here. This week is deadlines for grades for school. Anakin is way ahead in some things. Phonics and Math he is in February's work.

We've been to the parks a couple times. Went to Busch Gardens yesterday for a science field trip. They added new things since we were last there.

Today Anakin's eye hurts, but I think he has a headache. He wants all the lights off around the house. Gave him some ibuprofen and he is playing a bit, rather than just laying around. He tried to do his spelling earlier.

Grumpy went for a job interview this week. He hopes to hear back in a few days. He thinks it went well, but there were 4 other candidates for the same job. It was a group interview and he said the others had more experience than him.

He is taking College Composition this semester at the college. He got an A in the computer class he took last semester. He's trying to get ahead in all his other work in case he gets the job.

Wanting it dark is a sure sign of a headache. But, if he is playing it isn't debilitating at least.

Sounds like you guys have been busy. I hope Grumpy gets his job. It's so hard for teenagers right now to find jobs. It sounds like his school seriously and that is really good.

I think it sounds like you make learning fun for Anakin and that is great. I am going to see if our local Six Flags has any high school level science classes to make it fun for my kids. That is something I honestly never thought about it.

Grumpy has been checking his phone often to see if he's missed a call. So far no call. Should hear one way or the other by tomorrow night.

I hope your Six Flags does!

I had Anakin at the doctor today. He has a sinus infection and sore throat. She is treating him agressively in hopes the infection doesn't cause any more seizures.

This morning, Anakin was feeling worse. I took him to the doctor this morning. He should be better in no time, started antibiotics.
