2nd kidney transplant for a friend.. prayers please...
Well... I just got some sad news about a friend of mine... Actually I had a crush on Bob when we were in 4th grade... but I'm also friends with his wife and she's wonderful!!! Anyway... I just found out that he needs to have his 2nd kidney transplant. The last transplant he got a kidney from an old man, so they told him long ago that he would need another. He got the test results last night. We are all in shock. Bobby is my age. I'm waiting to hear because I think he has a rare blood type. Not that I could be a donor with my medical history... but I just wish there was something I could do...
so Please.. Prayers and Pixie Dust are appreciated... Thanks!!

It takes some work to get it going, hospitals and doctors have to mesh schedules and everything...but once it does...well, it turns out awesome! |

They are looking at all options... he has a good support system around him.. he is of course worried for his family, but we're hoping he gets the help he needs soon..

Experience with second transplant
My mother had two transplants WAY back in the late 70's early 80's. The first rejected after several weeks, the second came less than a year later and lasted for 10 years. I am praying for your friend.
