Thank you, ironlou! I appreciate it. I'm not sure I ever paid attention to that mural/sign too closely in the past on Disneyland trips. I'd seen it out of the corner of my eye but I hadn't really gotten up close to it. This (trip in December) was the first time I thought to snap a photo of it, and later I realized I really like the artwork a lot!

I kind of wonder if it is because of a certain expectation
I'd say go for it!

Thanks Michele!

My daughter made me wait for that ride. We waited 1/2 hour or more and I counted...it lasts exactly 25 seconds.

I totally didn't visit Toon Town this trip. And I am so glad. Did you have a good trip?

This was the first time we'd visited Toontown since 2007.

We did have a good trip...mostly. I started coming down with something at the beginning of the trip (which I didn't figure out until after we got home when I was actually sick) so I was unusually tired and couldn't figure out why. Then on the last night (Friday the 25th) it rained on an off most of the day. We dealt with the rain as best we could, but after we came out from our dinner at Jazz Kitchen, expecting 3-1/2 more park hours, it was pouring. I had to convince my daughter that it was time to throw in the towel, and she was NOT happy. It was fun though....good mom and daughter time.

I've been catching up on your TR when I have time.

When I saw how the weather was turning I was so glad that we were leaving in Thursday afternoon. I could feel the storm coming in. I am sorry to hear you were getting sick, that takes away from a trip. I am glad that you had fun though, and I am glad you had had the mom and daughter time that is so much fun.

Thank you, I need to get back on it but I cannot sit at the computer fro great links of tie because of my back spasms. I am hoping to add to it today.
