It depends on which itinerary you are on--A, B, or C. They are each different. I believe this cruise was itinerary A.

Check your cruise via disneycruises.com. Mine currently says "Alternate itinerary B"

A great breakdown of day 4! Love the aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr flair in your darling family's Pirate Night getup...although I do have to admit, those are some killer boots you have there...did you get those custom made?? those are totally cosplay worthy!!

So I must admit I am a little saddened to hear that you can't readily find any Don Julio Reposado at a reasonable price in SoCal....I seem to find it readily up here in NorCal, and not an arm and a leg....happy to assist with the replenish activity when necessary

It doesn't have anything to do with pirate costumes, just times and days of the ports:

Here are the new itineraries based on sailing date (subject to change without notice):

1/23, 1/30, 2/13, 3/13, 4/3

Day 1 – Los Angeles
Day 2 – Day at Sea
Day 3 – Cabo San Lucas
Day 4 – Puerto Vallarta
Day 5 – Day at Sea
Day 6 – Cabo San Lucas
Day 7 – Day at Sea
Day 8 – Los Angeles

2/6, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/20, 3/27, 4/10

Day 1 – Los Angeles
Day 2 – Day at Sea
Day 3 – Day at Sea
Day 4 – Puerto Vallarta
Day 5 – Cabo San Lucas
Day 6 – Cabo San Lucas
Day 7 – Day at Sea
Day 8 – Los Angeles

4/17 Day 8 - Replace Mazatlan with Cabo San Lucas

For the best selection, I would buy them before the cruise. They do have a limited selection of pirate costumes onboard, but they will cost more and I don't recall seeing anything for adults. I did see pirate Mickey ears in the gift shop and you will get free pirate night bandanas at dinner.

I bought the costumes online at different places. The kids' costumes are from the Disney Store and Spirit Halloween is a good place to get adult costumes.

Thanks for your detailed posts! Was there a charge for the tequilla tasting? And was the Palo brunch just a buffet spread, or do you order off a menu? What was the cost for that? Was there also a Palo tea? Sorry, didn't mean to bombard you with questions!

Dining Question

Stinkerbell - thanks for your informative and humorous Trip Report. I'm glad to read that your family had a great time on the Wonder to the MR. My question: as you picked Tritons for Formal Night, which restaurant would you pick for Semi-Formal Night if the whole family was dressed up? I'm thinking of renting my husband a tux so it will free up some precious luggage space. Appreciate your opinion. Thanks.

Looks like my wife and I will have to try out this *ahem* spa treatment...I assume you gave it a good rating?
