Too Many Chocolate Chips?

I have 6 bags of chocolate chips and don't know what to do with them. We're moving out of state shortly and I have to use them up before the move. I need easy ideas that don't need many ingredients since I don't have much on hand anymore.

Any ideas?

How about making chocolate chip pan cookies? Recipe is on the bag.

They are quick, easy to store and freeze very well. Maybe take some on the road for your move? Maybe share some with someone you want to say good-bye to?

How about melting them and then stirring in other things you have left? For example, you could use nuts, coconut, marshmallows, cereal, or pretzels. Drop by spoonfuls for the size you want onto waxed or parchment paper.

I have a wonder recipe for chocolate lava cakes that uses choc. chips.

4 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 Stick of Butter (not margarine)
3 Eggs
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
Pinch of Salt

Preheat oven to 400*.
Butter and sugar 4 - 4-5 oz. ramekins.
Melt chocolate and butter in microwave. Stir until completely melted.
In a separate bowl, whisk eggs. Then add sugar, flour, vanilla, and salt; whisk together.
Add chocolate mixture to egg mixture and whisk to combine.
Pour batter into ramekins and place on a baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until tops are firm and beginning to crack.
Remove from oven and let set for 10 minutes. Run a knife along the outside of the cakes before you turn upside down on a plate. Don't let the cakes set longer than 10 minutes or you won't be able to get them out. Serve with ice cream.
