I hear the River Roost is a good one for that. Some top-notch entertainment there, and they encourage matching shirts.

Hey GB!

Most excellent update! Love that someone in England picked up. That's mighty nifty right there.

Great job on the photos!

Love the pano pic.

And the zooming.

Big fan of the zoom.

Sorry to hear the points didn't work out, but glad you didn't wind up with something you weren't happy with.

Take care bro!

DVC is pretty hard - I spent 40 minutes on the phone talking to member services just now due to possible changes to trip plans... (more to be revealed soon). Now my head feels all weired. But at least the lady I spoke to was very friendly!

You must've taken a Klingon Rosetta Stone course or something. They need one for DVC.

Oh no. I don't understand some of the rules around changes....like "points in holding status". I hope your changes are far enough in advance that you don't have that situation. Yay for friendly member services personnel.

That "if you cancel within 30 days your points will go into holding" thing really scared me to death the first time I heard it... Thanks to the DVC boards here, I feel I got quite a good course in basic DVC - I guess I am able to communicate, but am still far from fluent. The advantage for me is that DVC is a language which is related to legal babble in which I got a degree and am quite fluent. And as with all other languages, it really helps if you already know one from the same family.

No "holding" situations for me - only the problem of scarce availability at my home resort during Food & Wine...

The story of James & the mister was too funny - can you tell it to me again??

Great pictures of all the animals viewed from your balcony.
I'm glad Marlene was able to get someone to pick up!

It just looks so incredibly complicated and scary!! Even if I had the money, it would seem like I'd have to spend decades studying what I was getting into- then again, I still debate whether it's attractive to me.... I mean, NO POLY??!! No mods??

Great update! I think I smiled the whole time I was reading it. The stories about the kids are excellent, too. And what amazing views! We walked out and checked out the view from Jambo House when we were there in February and my husband was just sort of like, oh, yeah, now I get it. We have to stay here! I cannot believe that you put together a photograph like the one you did of your view. So cool. This trip made me realize what a ridiculously inept photographer I am.

I think most of it is pretty straightforward, really.

Well, that's good. The "no holding situations" part, I mean. Yeah, those Epcot resorts are notoriously difficult to get during Food & Wine unless you have the home resort booking advantage.

What, you've never heard it? Well, this one time Judy had a booth at a local festival, and it was realllly hot, see. So James goes to a vendor a couple of booths down from Judy who was selling cheap, crappy toys.....

Zzzzzz.

0 Judys!

Oh darn, I'm too late. I need to live here more.

AWwww, it's so sweet that you got some special father-children bonding time with each of them. I can't remember the last time I got that with my parents, but I do LOVE it every time. It also gives me something to hold over my siblings, but hey, they get to see my parents EVERY DAY.

Love your tribute to Winkers. That's golden. I really need to remind the guys in the group to take that shot on our next trip.

Wow, she actually got someone to pick up! That's awesome! She looks like she's having SO MUCH fun, it makes me happy.
