Easter on ship?

Has anyone been on a DCL cruise over Easter? Does Disney do anything special (for the kids)? Just wondering how much I need to plan for our Easter cruise in April.

TIA!

We're on the 4/24 Dream cruise too! Not sure what the plans are for Easter - we're leaving WDW that morning and heading to the port so we've got Easter in both locations

My 8 yr old son and I are on the 4/24/11 Easter 4 nighter on the Dream as well and have done a lot of asking and searching around on this subject. Disney does have some Easter Religious Services on-board, but from all reports the kids Easter activities on-board are, or at least have been, next to none. And if you can do something before getting on-board, then obviously you have more control and less to pack as well. There has been rumor of the White Rabbit appearing for Easter, but not a whole lot else confirmable. BUT we'll be handing out eggs on deck so look for us to say HI!

We'll definitely look for you on deck - my DD has asked me if there were any boys her age on the ship - I'll tell her I found one but she has to look for the boy with the eggs

We already figured we'll be going to Easter services at the Contemporary with 4000 other people I know I'd rather be enjoying the ship rather than sitting in a non-denominational service onboard if they have one.

We are on the Magic and board the day before Easter. Let's just say there hasn't been alot of info found in regards to what they do on the boat for Easter. I have heard about the White Rabbit...possibly a character breakfast but wondering if thats just the regular one or one for Easter?

We will also be on the Dream 4/24. We heard they don't do anything special for Easter. We will be in WDW before the cruise , so we will celebrate before we head out to port.

We were on the Magic for Easter last year (Easter Sunday was spent in Key West) and I am pretty sure that there were CMs passing out chocolate Easter eggs. I do not recall seeing the Easter Bunny around the common areas, but he did stop by our cabin and left a wonderful Easter basket for my DD (thanks to Shirley's Gifts).

We were on the Magic last Easter Sunday. Sunrise service, Catholic mass and non-denomational service.
Easter displays of beautiful chocolate eggs and candy at the different restaurants. CM wearing bunny ears all day long. White Rabbit roaming the ship.

We were in Key West that day and my boys are older (I did pack collaspsable baskets with some goodies for them), so I do not know if they had any special kids activities. But you knew it was EAster.

Enjoy!

Glad there is some Easter stuff on board. I like the idea of an easter egg hunt in the room. I'm sure my boys would like that.

A sunrise service on the ship must be beautiful! Sadly (well, not so sadly) we're sailing on Easter Sunday so no sunrise from the ship for us.

We were on the Wonder last year, but Easter was the day we got off the ship. It was cute to see an Easter display in the lobby as we walked off, but that was it. We got a lot of candy filled easter eggs in our FE exchange, but there were no special activities onboard during the cruise. I wonder if the people getting on the ship that Easter Sunday had anything special?
