You know you made me LOL with your review!!!!
I had a hard time comparing the finished product with the menu description as well - figured it was one of these NON-mother tongue things!

But your experience at the Turf Club is very similar to ours. Got in on short notice (early August, booked online at around 6pm for 6.30! ) and the food was so nice! I love that they gave you an option of getting both kinds of fries - best of both worlds!
And I REMEMBER the espresso tart! Yum, yum, yum!

Can't wait for your new reviews to start! Hope you post a link in your siggie!

Karin, it was not a mother tongue thing....just a really poor menu description! I'm glad our server Sharon told us exactly what it was or I would have never ordered it. I can get good wings at home....but Turf Club's version is another story!

I should be starting the next batch of reviews soon, I will definitely post a link! Thanks for reading!

Kat, I think Turf Club is underrated due to the fact that there's not a lot of theming, and it's at SSR which people never really care to visit. But the food really shines, and that's all I need most of the time!
