I'm adding a link to this thread in the FAQ sticky now.

Thanks so much for all the info. It makes sense that you need to book it onboard with the paperwork that needs to be filled out.

Chill Spa is just for teens. I've only seen them offer kids/teens services on days when the spa/salon is not busy and they are using them to fill appt. slots. For now you'll just have to check onboard to see if they will allow those younger than 13 to option to book certain services.

From reading the rest of the post and it says "I figure my DDs and I will head up there once we board and see what we can do" I'm taking it the poster meant to say onboard in the first sentance. Hopefully they will come back and clarify their post.

Re: the Me! Bath Manicures and Pedicures - my friend owns Me! Bath and was super-psyched for the products to be on the ship. I can personally vouch for this line -- your skin has never been so soft in your life! I hope they're selling the products for guests to purchase as well as they are amazing!

As on the Magic and Wonder - the brochure states:

Min. Age - You must be at least 18 years of age to utilize our spa facilities. Salon services are available to guests OF ALL AGES. Teen services (13-17) are available in the Chill Spa.

this means that hair and nails (which are done in the salon) are open to those younger than 13. Facials on the other hand would not be but are sometimes offered (at least on the Magic) as part of a mommy and me package if they are doing it on your cruise. We have done this before but it was not advertised - I had to ask about it.

Thanks Krisann. I didn't realize they classified nails as a salon service. In my mind that's a spa service.

Talking

When we cruised on the Magic last year, they offered a 'spa taster' for younger cruisers. Both my DD, ages 10 and 14 at the time, were able to get a facial, manicure, and pedicure. They just loved it, and I have some lovely holiday photos to bring out when they start dating and the boyfriends come over for dinner...
