Does the DTD Babycakes take snack credits?

I am so looking forward to eating dessert here! Has anyone heard if they accept snack credits there? Thanks!

We haven't been there yet, but I do know that they do not accept any version of the Dining Plan.

If they don't you can get yummy giant cookies at Goofy's..we got 4 there on our first day at xmas week and brought them back to resort. There are so many places that have those huge yummy cupcakes also(Starring rolls-red velvet and reeses, contemp cafe-dulce de leche, to name a couple)or hit the BW bakery for the cheesecake.

Dining Plan!

We just wanted to write in an update that as of today, we now accept the Disney Dining Plan! Any single serve item is considered one snack credit.

Are there "regular" type cupcakes/brownies/etc there or are they all special gluten free/vegan/etc? I saw the picture on another thread of the sign, etc. but it doesn't say anywhere if this is solely a specialty type place.

Thanks,
Maggie

Yes all of the items are vegan and gluten free but not 100% nut safe if you are allergic to nuts.

Wow! Great news! Can't wait to try some yummy cakes.

Hopefully some more of the new food outlets at DTD might come onboard DDP.

Is this true? Oh, I was so hoping we could go here! I actually got misty eyed when I saw there was a place my DD could have a treat due to her allergies. But if it's not nut free....i can't take a chance..

I was reading on another thread that they don't use nuts. However, some of their ingredients were made on machines that might have used products with nuts. I will see if I can find that other thread that explains it. But its best to ask when there.

Answers!

Hello!

I just wanted to answer some of the questions that were posted. Here goes:

Location:
We are located in the Fresh A-Peel building next to T-Rex. Closest to Parking Lot 2 if you are driving.

Nuts:
We do bake with coconut (technically a tree-nut). Also, the flours that we use are packaged by Bob's Red Mill on equipment that also packages almond flour, hazelnut flour, and soy flour. They power wash their machinery and discard the first 30 pounds of product to help prevent cross-contamination, but it is of course up to you how comfortable you are with their cleaning practices.

Menu:
The menu is not currently posted but we do offer an an assortment of both cupcakes and doughnuts each day. We also offer brownies, cookies, loaves by the slice, and cake bites. Flavors tend to vary day to day, but we keep our staple flavors on hand all day everyday!

I hope this is helpful!

Very helpful, thank you! We will be sure to stop by and check it out (and take some samples ) in September!

And as for menus not being posted yet, I doubt that is a problem on these boards ..... pictures of decadence don't take long to turn up on the food porn threads
