Few firsts, friends & H. P. an Oct. TR - New 3/4 - THE END...

Welcome to my new trip report. Being I gave up on my pre trip report I will recap a few important details.

The who:
Myself(Scott) and my partner Vinny. Here we are on our previous trip in 2008.


The dates were 10/23/10/-/10/30/10.

We were supposed to meet some friends the first night for dinner. Then the rest would be 7 days full of more fun. Well let's see if that is what happened.

We also went to Universal Studios half way through the trip. Let's see how that was.

The journey begins.....

10/23/10
New York: 48 degrees and clear
Orlando: 90 degrees and sunny

3:25 a.m. The alarm clock rings. I jump out of bed and shave and shower. Originally we were going to take a car service but then I found a car park by the airport and read many excellent reviews so we decided to park there. We left our home at 4:10(25 minutes later than I wanted to) and arrived at the car park at 4:45.

Side note: this was a great place. It was so easy and so affordable and I felt more comfortable than parking at the airport. The name was Airpark.

At the airport, it was a breeze through security. We get inside and we hit Dunkin' Donuts and I have a iced latte and a glazed donut. Vinny had a coffee and old fashioned donut. We then proceeded to the gate. It wasn't long of a wait as they began boarding 45 minutes before the scheduled take off time. 5:45 we began to get onboard. I paid for the upgrade in seats for more legroom as I hate to fly and really want to be as comfortable as possible.

Vinny was very involved in his Kindle.


We arrived 20 minutes early and got in at 8:50 a.m. It was great and being in row 3 we were quickly off the plane.

We quickly made our way to the monorail.


Once in the other terminal I was shocked at how long the lines were for security. I was happy to see many people going home. This happiness will not last.

We were put onto our bus and settled in for the ride.


After 10 minutes we were on our way. Soon we were going under
