TS3 Digital Copy Problem

Hopefully someone will know what to do with this issue. So, I got TS3 Blu-ray,dvd, and digital copy and added the Disney Movie Rewards code first. Then, I added the digital copy onto my macbook and followed all the instructions. When I clicked to play it in itunes, it says it is not authorized to play on this computer and you have used the 5 computers that you could share it with. Then, I tried it with my account (I used it with my the mother's first time). It came up with "This computer is already authorized" AND " This computer is not Authorized to play Toy Story 3". Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Have you tried playing it with something like VLC? Bypass stupid iTunes?

Haven't tried VLC, but tried Quicktime and it said play it in itunes and get it authorized.

Well, seeing as Quick Time & iTunes are from the same people, I'm not surprised.

VLC is a great player. It will play almost anything. They've even made a version that works on the iPad.

ok, I think I found the problem. This was all done on my mother's account and when I tried to use it on mine it was telling me this computer is not authorized and she "apparently" has exceeded her 5 computer limit. So, my imac is one of the authorized computers so I will give it a try on that in the AM and see if it works.

The digital copies are DRM'd to make them pretty much unusable

VLC can't play it properly.. It will also only work on the one account it was activated on... so.....

if it works on your imac, deauthorize it on your mothers account, then authorize the pc that you want to watch it on onto that account as well.

Unfortunately, unless you sync your portable device using her account as well, it's not leaving the MAC/PC world
