I think....If you book a "dummy date" for a cruise you are able to switch your reservation when you pick the cruise you really want..we have ( my husband has I just nod my head and say sounds good ) done this several times don't think there is a limit on how many times you can switch sail dates..anyone know that answer..

Just settling in to beautiful Old Key West. A group of ducks and birds just showed up on our veranda looking for a hand out.

Beginning the process of packing. We leave Friday evening for two nights at BLT. Trying to convince the other half to head to MK after watching Wishes from TOWL, so far he's not interested, but I still have a few days of wrangling.

Can't wait to meet everyone.

Safe travels to everyone as you make your way to Orlando!

I'll be interested to hear how you enjoyed Wishes from there. We are staying at BLT 2 nights POST cruise!

NEWS FLASH EVERYONE!!!
Just heard that a University of Barcelona study has shown that drinking moderate amounts of red wine before hanging out in the sun on a tropical island provides protection from sun damage!!

Red wine for breakfast!!

(OK, so they didn't actually mention the tropical island, but any sun exposure)

So far I don't think so either.
I had booked a cruise in 2003 on board ship. It got switched annually until we used it August 2011.

I'm having lots of packing angst! There's nothing like vacation to make you realize what clothes your children do and don't have. Somehow my youngest has enough t-shirts for 5 children but only one pair of khaki pants.
Nothing trying to pack for myself and 3 kids (my husband just has to pack for himself - I have limits! ) while getting through a busy week of work and their last day of school. And after a relatively cool spring we're going to have temperatures into the 90's this week. I think Friday night is going to be a long night of last minute laundry!
I'm so worried about forgetting stuff or not packing enough. I always reassure myself when packing for Disney trips that we're traveling to an English-speaking country where they accept American dollars. I'm sure that we can buy anything we need on the cruise ship (for a premium!) but it somehow feels different.
Forgive my rambling! I'm super excited for the trip and can't wait!

Amanda

Us too! We just got the suitcases out. Usually, we are up at midnight the night before we leave. Not this trip! We are determined to get most of it done TODAY! With small stuff left for the overnight bag.

We'll see out it goes . . . .

We drove ourselves crazier because we packed too early!! We have been packed since Friday, and now time is creeping by because it feels like we should have left already! The waiting has become torture, since we're used to packing in a mad scramble the night before we leave! We can't wait for Thursday!

I am usually in this situation too. On one of my last trips, I started packing at 9 pm the night before and then realized my flight was leaving earlier than I originally thought. I think I got three hours of sleep that night. I HATE packing and it takes forever for me to do it. That night was nuts!

This is why I avoid doing it early. lol That's my logic and I'm sticking to it.

I'm cleaning the house today and then going to a book signing in a few hours. My plan is to pack tomorrow.

Woot, Woot, on the bus to our Happy Place. Waited about 15 minutes for the bus, but its going to take a while since we stop at coronado, pop, art, and then kidani. It's cooler here in Orlando than in WI.

Thanks for the well wishes Nikki, can't wait to meet you, and everybody else.
