FWIW, we like to have a veranda. In good weather (not true on PCC 2.0) its nice to spend an afternoon quietly on the veranda with a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers from room service.

i liked having a verandah on our cruises - it's not that i spent all that much time out there....but i definitely did go out there.....
i wake up before everyone else, so i sat out there watching whatever was happening (watching us dock in CC and nassau).
and it's just nice sitting out there and watching the water...something very relaxing about it....on our first cruise i said to my husband - i get the yacht thing now....i can understand how people can just sit out on their yachts and stare out at the water....i can't put it into words, but i enjoyed it.....now if i could only find a billionaire to adopt me so that i could actually have a yacht...

Just off the Magic Saturday....booked our June 16th cruise on the Fantasy and a dummy date for Aug 2012 which we hope to move to Podcast 4.0 in Dec 2012

Anxiously awaiting the rest of 2012's DCL dates!!! It would be our first Podcast cruise............(we are DU clients and named our TA Beth Fejer at the time of booking

)

We just put down our deposit on PCC3.0!

So excited - can't believe DH agreed (or actually suggested it - thanks Pete for mentioning it again on the show last week!) just have to decide now whether to do WDW before or after!

When we got home last night, I found some mail from DCL about our upcoming cruise! It made me very, very happy and even more excited than I already was!!!

This will be our first Disney cruise & I'm so excited that it's also going to be a podcast cruise too! I've been doing the happy dance

for days now. My husband is looking forward to it but he's not into podcasts so he doesn't realize what's in store for us.

Also, this is my first time to post on any board! Thought I would give it a try and hope to get to know many of you before we set sail in a little over 17 months!

my husband isn't into the podcasts either, but he was really looking forward to PCC 2.0 after i told him all about the super nice disers i met when i was at WDW in june on my own.
In the end, we had to cancel, but hopefully, 3.0 will finally work out for us. I can't wait. Truth is, it seems far away, but i'm sure it will go fast....after all, we're already in 2011...2012 will be here in no time!!

It sounds like it will be a good mix of first-timers, like us, and experienced cruisers. It's interesting to see how many first-timers, cruisers and posters, Pete and company are attracting with this and their prior cruises.

Anyone else signed up for 3.0 from northeast Texas?

Having only been on 1 cruise (PCC 2.0)...I still don't think of myself as an experienced cruiser....looking back, there was SO much that I didn't do (things I had wanted to do)...I'm so glad that PCC 3.0 is a day longer !!!
