Always happy to help a Texan, (we were stationed twice in San Angelo).

When you check-in, even if your room isn't ready, the concierge will know where it is located. If it isn't quite what you requested, ask the concierge if something closer to your request is available.

Good luck and have a great vacation at the Lodge

I enjoy the other drinks when we are there.

I have to tell you that I grew up in San Antonio and we have a place in Bandera. My DH is an Aggie alumni

Well, 24 hours from now we will be on a plane heading for WDW! We are staying in a Deluxe Room CL at the BWI. We cannot wait to get there! It's been a tough week (our dog passed away very suddenly), so I think WDW will be great for us! The BWI CL is our favorite, and we have been several times.
I will try to post live from the BWI, but I may not. I will for sure post a review when I get back. Is there anything anyone would like me to look for while there? I will report back on anything you would like me to.
Thanks!

Good morning! I had a quick question about bags and your room not being ready. I'm the one in the family who carries a the small carry-on with an i-pod or two. It's the really small drawstring type. If the room isn't ready and we were headed to a park can I leave the bag with the concierge or will I have to carry it with me? I don't mind if I do have to bring it (usually I do since I end up being the "Carry my water bottle" person too ) Just wondering if you can leave it with them til you return. Thanks in advance! Happy Friday!

yes you can leave your bag there with the bell hops. They will give you a claim ticket for it to claim later but ours came up when the rest of our luggage arrived to our room while we were at the park.

When I email the CL staff, I was told if our room was not ready, we could leave any luggage (carry on stuff) we had with them, the rest of our luggage would stay at the bell hop

Please be kind enough to report if Merlot is still the only red wine served at Innkeeper's Club.

Until then, enjoy your stay!

All the best.

Thanks! That's good information to have. Can't wait to get there, just 16 days away!!

They also said the Disney World site wouldn't necessarily show reservations made by their office and that the Illuminations cruise and Sunrise Safari would definitely never show up on there. They were very nice and apologized for the confusion/delay.

I know this is from a couple of weeks ago, but wanted to give an update. I did receive an email from IPO 2 days after our 180 day mark confirming our dining reservations (which I was able to pull up on the WDW site) and they were able to make our Sunrise Safari and Illuminations cruise reservations also.

Thanks for asking this, although we won't be flying in, it is nice to know that we can leave out bags and go to the park after we check in.

I loved CL at CR, but I don't think I would do it again because we didn't utilize it enough. We went there for the occasional snacks and I had some wine, but other than that, we didn't use it that much.
