Some people who asked to be waitlisted for the show time they want have already received confirmation that they got it. Good luck!
Just to clarify, I did receive the statement from DCL yesterday with our Dining and Showtimes. I received this from DCL even though I boooked through a TA and have not paid in full yet.

Good Luck to everyone on getting your desired times

We are going June 2011 and also got a letter from DCL about dining/show times. Ours is 8:30 dining and show at 7:00. I called and explained that my family never eats that late and requested the first dining. He was very pleasant and said that they would put us in for the waitlist. We would like the 6:00 dining/9:00 show. I think that perhaps by sending these notices out early, they can have people call and request times more easily via phone and reduce the changes on the afternoon of boarding the ship. Just a thought.

When I called they said main dining has the 9 pm show and late dining has the 7 pm show, and the 5 pm show had to be requested. That's what the CM told me. I know others have reported differently. We're main dining and he said we are scheduled for the 9 pm show.

I just booked the Dream inaugural today, and my TA said that they had to change to 3 show times, because there are more seats in the dining rooms than in the theatre.
When we were on Oasis in June, or keycards had the show reservations programmed into them. They just scanned our cards at the door up until 10 min prior to showtime, then they let folks in from the standby line...again this was on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas, not Disney.

No, the 5:00 show does not need to be requested, as we were assigned to it, and would not have requested that time. But, the 9:00 was full, so we are waitlisted. Our TA said she thought that families with small children were getting assigned to the 5:00 show by default. (One of our DDs is a night owl, and the other we will probably use FLounders regardless of time.)

We got our letter :o)

We got out letter this week. Our cruise is June 17. We are scheduled for the 5:00 show and 8:30 PM dinner. This works perfectly for us because we tend to pig out too much at dinner and aren't hungry by 6 .

When I made the ressies, I did request the late seating. We have an 8 year old and a 2 year old.

We are pretty happy overall. Its vacation!! I can not wait!!

We have two children 8 and 4, so I am happy about the early dinner, but not sure about the early show. Having to get ready during the 4:00 hour seems EARLY!! However, if we were to eat at 6:00 and not attend the show until 9:00, the kids could start fading before showtime after a long fulfilled day. I realize that there will be activities going on between 7:30 and 9:00 to keep us busy, but...

Oh well. We will probably just keep everything as is. It's going to be great no matter what our schedule is!
My husband and I are on this cruise too. We however, booked with a TA and haven't gotten our assignments yet. We asked for the later dinner, and we are hoping to get the later of the show assignments. We want as much time on CC as possible Hope you are as excited about the cruise as we are!

When we booked the August 25, 2011 3-night online, we selected "main" dining with a 9pm showtime. We had several choices, but the late dining would be tough with our three boys (two pre-teens and a pre-schooler.) For us, it will be better for our youngest to fall asleep during the show than to get crabby at a late dinner! I think the default on the website was the "late" seating, so I changed in when I booked. The choice appeared as soon as we paid our deposit (directly to Disney.)

3 showtimes on the Fantasy

Has there been any discussion of the logisitcs of three show times? The 'early' show is available to both dinner seatings.

What are disers' thoughts on this?
