Molly's Clothes on Mike & Molly TV Show

I know this is probably a long shot, but I would love to know where the TV show is getting Molly's clothes for the show. As a pooh sized woman, I am loving the clothes that Molly wears on the show. I have checked out Lane Bryant and Dress Barn with no luck....I tried to look online with no luck and the credits of the show have nothing.

I don't watch the show but I would like to comment ... lots of times if I am watching a show and I like what someone is wearing on that show ... if you watch the CREDITS it may state who the designer is or where the wardrobe is from.

The other day ELLEN had on a blazer I absolutely LOVED and it did list the clothing designer at the end of the show as the credits ran.

Oh, sorry, OP, just re-read your OP ... ugh. Well I guess this post is on no help.

I'm not sure where they are getting Mollys clothes - but you might want to look at catherines plus size and Making it Big - they have great clothes for large people.

Thank you too for the link.

It is really disheartening-Macy's has dropped their women's pooh sized clothes. So has the Boston Store. I can still find sizes in Appleton WI at a Younker's store. Tommy Hillfigure had some clothes in larger sizes for awhile that I actually liked, even though they were pricey, but you could get the clothes at a great price when they went on sale.

My husband googled and found out that Molly's wardrobe comes from Macy's, Target, JCP, and Lane Bryant. The producers want her to have a wardrobe that can be purchased on a teacher's salary.

It must just be your store because my Macy's store has a HUGE women's plus size department. My mom and sis love it.

I know Molly's bathrobe is Charter Club from Macy's, and so it looks like a lot of her clothes are Macy's brands like Charter Club, INC, Alfani, etc. I know this because I work at Macy's in the Women's Plus departments, and thanks to Molly, we've been selling out of that stuff, especially the bathrobe!

Thank you Molly!

My Macy's does too. Although I have to disagree with Lane Bryant being affordable on a teacher's salary. I went in there this weekend and they wanted $50 for a cotton t-shirt and $70 for a sweater!

LB is one of those places that you don't walk in the door without a coupon... much of it is overpriced and just comes down to "normal" prices with sales and coupons.

I hate that !! Kohls and Justice (for kids) are like that too! Any others ? I am not an avid shopper and i feel like I am getting ripped off 'cause I don't go often .

If you are near a Nordstrom's Rack, they carry Eileen Fisher sweaters/cardigans there a lot...as well as many nice pieces. It is a go-to store for me to get get gifts for family, and they are usually happy with the item, I have not gotten any complaints.

IME, the more affluent the store location, the smaller the selection of plus-sized apparel will be. It's that old saw of "you can never be too rich or too thin" -- as a general rule, wealthier women tend to be thinner on average than the general population.

The recession is also partly to blame, and for exactly the same reason,. Because plus-sized women tend on the whole to be less affluent, they have as a group cut back more on their clothing spending. The end effect of that was that a lot of bridge lines in those sizes were dropped because sales were disproportionately bad. http://www.findingdulcinea.com/news/...Emergency.html
