So, it is just a concert for the anniversary? Crap! I LOVE the play but really didn't enjoy the 10th annievrsary concert and am unsure about this one now. The way the website made it sound was that it would be the show but with some new staging.
I was all sad that I would be missing it since I am due the day before it opens in Louisville, now I'm not.

It is the 25th Anniversary Concert that was taped at the O2 on October 3. I'm very excited about it! The cd is the full stage performance that was taped over 8 performances at the Barbican, I believe. The US Tour of the actual show is kicking off in New Jersey late next month.

And...for those that want to know: The movie is being shown nationwide for one night only and only one showing. For everyone, it will be Wednesday, November 17 at 7:30.

This link will take you to the main page regarding the concert. Then, just enter zip codes until you find something close to you.

Yes, the full musical is touring. You can find dates (that have been released so far) here:

Crap, now I'm sad again. It opens in Louisville I think on the 8th of March and I am due the 7th. If history repeats itself, I'll go into labor on the 7th too.
Sucks! It's my fave musical!

I'm sorry Syrreal. That stinks. (Well, not about the baby, but you know...) Obviously, from my many posts, one can conclude that I'm a wee bit obsessed with Les Mis. Right now I'm trying to decide how many shows I'll be able to see.

I'm wondering if I would still be able to fly in January enough to go see it in Ft Laud. I used to live in Miami so I could stay with some friends or family down there. LOL

Ugadog- I have a great story of the last time I saw Les Mis in Ft laud. My friend and I had front row center seats and then we went to the stage door. We ended up going out with the cast to Dennys and hanging out with them the rest of the night. It was so much fun! The guy who played Enjolras was such a cutie (and a good kisser). I wish I could remember his name!

I saw this at the Kennedy Center in DC before it went to Broadway. I've loved this show ever since.

"I am agog, I am aghast, is Marius in love at last. I have never seen him oooo and aaaah....we talk of battles to be won, and here he comes like Don Ju-an, it is better than an opera!"

So much good music from this show and some of it is even a bit funny, too!

When I saw it for the 1st time, I went with this guy that I was kind of semi seeing and he bought tickets (beacuse I "told" him to) he thought that intermission was the end of the show and FELL ASLEEP during the 2nd act. How can you fall asleep with all the canon and gunfire???

Sadly, I am very serious.
And when I told him that the break was only intermission, he actually WHINED "You mean we gotta go back?!" I told him he didn't have to that I would have no problem getting a ride home. We did NOT last long after that.

I totally understand. He wouldn't have lasted around here long, either!
