Walk from Epcot to Yacht club?

I'm not at all familiar with the Epcot area resortsb - how much of a walk is it from Epcot to the Yacht Club?

Alternatively, any other transportation that doesn't involve transfers?

ps - sorry, I just found my answer in the FAQ. Senior moment!

longest should be 15 minutes

you can take the boat (it stops on the boat marina that is directly in front).

but walking is generally faster. after it stops at YC/BC then it goes to BW before going to Epcot.

Just walk through the International Gateway to the boats which will take you over to the BC&YC dock or at the most a 15 minute walk. It's a wonderful stroll!

Agreed

No biggie. YC is VERY close. Stayed there in 2005 and marveled at how quick the walk to Epcot is. We are staying at the Dolphin next week which is twice as far away and we plan to walk to Epcot (though there is also a boat)

The walk is a nice stroll. One tip if you want to avoid walking up the hill from the International Gateway, veer to the left and walk along the pathway underneath the bridge. It will save you a bit of time and you don't have to deal with a steep incline or the Surrey Bikes flying down the hill on the other side.

I frequently stay at the YC, mainly because I love being able to walk from the resort into Epcot. I have done the walk many, many times - it takes me 7 minutes to walk from the IG exit to the YC lobby. I'm a bit of a fast walker, so even someone walking at a slower pace can make it in 10 minutes.

I must agree with everyone. It is a very nice walk to Epcot, you arrive at the International Gateway for World Showcase. It takes about 10 -15 min depending on your pace.
