The problem with using a flash inside PP (only know because DH didn't know the rules the first trip we took) is that it illuminates things you aren't meant to see and ruins the illusion

Hey Princess JV...Sorry I didn't respond earlier. I got pretty busy at work today and only had time for 30 seconds of DIS'ing.

I would definitely go back to Kouzzina. I think I would be more prepared and get a better idea of the dishes before I went. I am actually going there for breakfast in May and the breakfast menu looks AMAZING! I can't wait.

Drinking around the world was really fun! Can't wait to do it again in May. Of course, if I overdo it I might not be getting out of bed at all!

Good point Katie! I really didn't think about that. I just know I have never gotten good pictures in that ride.

Wouldn't it be cool if they would do something with that building? It's so easy to overlook, but it really is a cool place and its so nostalgic because of it origins.

MEK gave me a *gentle* reminder that I need to write an update and she's right, I do. I went back through my pics and I don't have a whole lot more from this night! Then I realized that the next day was our *gulp* last day and it would be over! So I decided if I didn't finish the TR then the trip would never be over. Wouldn't that be nice?

Doesn't work that way. DARN!



China was next up to refill our drinks!



No, we didn't get these. We ordered off the menu:



MEK got the Mango Gingerita and I went with a Peach Snap. It was sweet, very sweet, and very schanppy. I made it to Germany which is one of my favorite places in all of WDW! Because of that, and becasue I was holding a drink and feeling woozy, I didn't snap a lot of pictures.

I want one of these!

I have a Black Forest Cuckoo clock that my Grandma got for me, and I love it, but it's not as fancy as this (nor as expensive!)

YES! The singing steins! We had no idea what was going to happenand when they broke out into song MEK cracked up and made them do it again so she could get a pic.

Oh great, the beer hat pic. I'm never going to live that pic down and you had to post it twice? Can't you put one of those fancy photobucket filters on it and make it more artsy and less fartsy?

If you're wondering why I'm making a dumber face than usual, it was because of what happened when I went to pose. I set my almost empty drink on the shelf in the shop, propped my arm on the shelf, and promptly tipped the shelf up and knocked my drink to the floor!

MEK thought that was hilarious too.

Then we moved on; to a bio-break for the Sherpa.







I like the Tangerine Cafe but I'm not a huge fan of the sit-down place here.

Ahhh.... I love to see SE without the arm! Maybe there's hope for the big hat at MGM?


I think we hoofed it over to the Boardwalk for our ressie so I only have this pic:


I like this place! I have to take DH here, I know he'll love it. He's also a HUGE Iron Chef fan and would just like to eat at a Cat Cora restaurant. Minor correction to MEK's post: I did not have the baklava, I had the galaktoboureko - Semolina Custard in Baked Phyllo Dough and Vanilla-Praline gelato, on my Greek friends recommendation - good choice!

I have to admit, by the time we got to the Boardwalk I was feelin' it and a little but I bucked up, got another drink, and solidered on! Thank goodness there was food involved!

It was beautiful when we left. I tried to take some good pics but it was tricky with my little camera.






Then we went somewhere... and she got a drink... and I don't think I did... and we went to China to drop off the Kimunicator and the fireworks started! We watched and strolled and snapped away merrily, and a little drunkenly.

Yes - that's us - the lush photographers. Apparently, I had a couple drinks on Jen by the end of the night.

I can honestly say that was the first time I ever drank that much in any of the Disney parks. It definitely was a fun way to see the world. And I totally forgot about Jen spilling her drink in Germany!

I will take a picture of it and post it towards the end. I also have to take a picture of the cool coffee mug I got. In fact, I still have to post our PP pics, but I was going to keep those for the end as well.

My necklace is actually quite simple, but I really love it.

I agree - they do look a bit scary! Next time I upload I will put the original back. I am so used to editing and replacing that I completely forgot to keep the original. DOH!

I do! I do have pics of the finished pearls, let me get them uplaoded and I will post them. I don't know about anyone else, but the pick-a-pearl in Japan is like a jewelry slot machine! I can never resist!

I like the Andy Warhol effect of the first pictures of Jen. That was a cool effect. The others make Jen look like she has some weird disease!
