Talking MNSSHP Sept 14th - Who's Going? And What are you Dressing up as?

Ok Everyone! There are some great informational threads out there on MNSSHP, but how about one for a roll call. So who out there is going? And what are you dressing up as?

I'll be there with the Fam! I'm going as Tinkerbell, My Mom is going as Maleficent, My Dad is making a Carl from UP costume, My Grandma is going to be Minnie Mouse, and my Brother is going as Randall from Clerks. (I know I know not Disney but at least he is dressing up. lol.)

yep we are going to be there. Haven't missed a MNSSHP yet. We ran out of costume ideas so DD decided we needed to do the Flintstones. I know...I know but she really wants to be the teenage Pebbles. SO if you all see a Fred, Wilma, and Pebbles...stop and tell us HI! We love meeting other Dis'ers!

And I'm almost positive we will be the only Flintstones there....hehehe kinda bold to become Hanna-Barbera characters with so many available Disney Characters but she had her heart set on it.

Mom and I will be there!
I think we are doing the standard Hippie costumes. I know not very creative but we don't want to deal with costumes and flying or costumes and heat!
I plan on having a lime green mickey head attached to my purse. Please stop by and say hi!

My best friend and I will be there! I bet we will look exhausted as it is our last day in Florida - but we will be sporting our Hogwarts Robes that we made at home (honestly they are more like capes). See you all there!

Our fam of four will be there, too!

DD (10) is going as a cat queen with wolf tail (--whatever. She's happy, I'm happy ).
DS (12) is a pirate.
Mr. FFerret loves halloween but will probably just go as Mr. FFerret.
I'll just have a lovely, flluffy arctic fox tail on. Subtle, easy to travel with.

This will be the kids' first MNSSHP, but the hubs and I did one as a date night in 03. Can't wait! If you see us--just look for the tails--say hi and don't be shy!

Mr. FFerret so TOTALLY rocks!!!

We will be going to 2 MNSSHP parties, on Sept. 21 & 23. It will be me, DD4 and DD11mo, and my parents.

DD4 will probably be Pocahontas, or possibly Alice. My dad was thinking of wearing a jedi-robe, but I warned him about the heat.

I want to dress up, but I need something fairly simple, that is mostly like real clothes - mostly because of the heat, but also because I will be dealing with my DD11months who loves to grab onto shiny/interesting things. Any suggestions welcome! I was thinking a fun hat of some kind.

I got DD 11months the baby Belle costume, which is so cute, but don't know if I'm going to have her wear it. I would rather she be comfortable, since she will probably be asleep. In that case I got her some cute Minnie pj's - if anyone has a source for other baby pajama costumes (that aren't hot sleeper types) let me know!

This will be our first time at MNSSHP and are so excited!

Hey everyone, we will be there on the 14th. I will be wearing my new Halloween t-shirt that says something snarky, last year I wore a shirt that said "I'm with Creepy" with an arrow pointing to my boyfriend...we had to make sure that he was always on my left though otherwise the arrow was pointing at random people.

My t-shirt this year is awesome though I can't for the life of me remember what it says right now I'll have to post later when I remember

"All of us learn to write in the second grade. Most of us go on to greater things." Bobby Knight

You could buy a Pluto hat and dress in yellow as Pluto. You could wear an ears hat or headband, black shirt and red shorts/trousers and be Mickey. Any of the character hats can be "dressed up" by wearing regular clothes in the appropriate colors. It won't be an exact costume, but it will get you in the "spirit" of things and you'll be comfortable.

We'll be there. DH & I aren't dressing up, we've run out of time to find costumes. But our 2 DDs will be. They are going to be Tinkerbell and Silvermist.
